We attended our American Legion Mid-winter conference here and spent three nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel and convention center were well taken care of and clean. Our room was nicely furnished and comfortable. A choice between a hard and soft pillow would be a nice addition. Thanks for the great weekend!

We visited in January so not very busy but nice location. There were some inconveniences. At 6 am the room above us was being renovated, pounding dragging and moving. At first we didn't figure out what it was. We paid to have a porch, and walked outside in the night. In the morning I saw that dog owners had let...

Attended a conference at Cedar Shores so I got to see many aspects of Cedar Shores. The meeting room was plesant and THANK YOU for turning on the heat in the meeting rooms. I hate meetings where you get froze out. We had great beverage and break services throughout the conference, as well as a great hot noon meal and...

First i would like to say that we did not stay in the lodge, but in the cabins across the road up on the hill. The cabins are only OK, not anything special. The house keeping was poor. We had 6 rooms and they were all poorly kept. We found dead bugs everywhere, and little pieces of trash on the...

Meets all my expectations for a good room. Dark, great bed and good shower. But, The staff is lazy and won't even acknowledge you when you walk by. I tried the breakfast buffet and my group had dinner one night here. I couldn't eat my food. You should go elsewhere for your meals. It is a nice setting and we...

Great place to eat in Chamberlin/ ooacoma SD, had a good prime rib buffet, lots to eat will not leave hungry, will come back, service was good, and not tourist expensive like most places, also had a large variety menu and full bar, easy to park and plenty of tables for large groups.

Had another great stay at Cedar Shore for the pheasant season opening weekend. Food and hospitality were top notch as always! Rooms are cleanly kept and the prime rib is excellent. Will definitely be back next year.

This hotel is in a beautiful area, as it sits on the river. We stayed one night, based on word of mouth this is supposed to be a really nice place. We were disappointed. For $176 a night, we expected something much nicer, For the experience it was just too expensive. Our room was right behind the dining area where...

So starting at check in the front desk staff was confused and could not find our reservation and took almost 20 minutes to get it figured out. We went down for dinner - probably one of the poorest meals we had on our trip. Had the walleye, crab cakes appetizer. Could not tell what the gray sauce was with it....
