3 Stars for the following: Valet Staff Friendliness Convenience Cons: I paid $$$ and am sleeping with a box fan on because the room is so hot and no one can figure out the A/C issues in the hotel. I try not to complain, but this is NOT a 4-star hotel.

Thank you for your feedback. I do apologize for any issues with your air conditioning. Our boilers were down for a couple of days and some rooms felt more of the impact than others. The boilers have been fixed and I do apologize for the inconvenience and uncomfortable temperatures of your room. If you would like to discuss further, please give me a call at 423-756-3400

Hotel's Favourite
Best thing about this hotel is Chef Jason … can’t say enough about him … he is a phenomenal chef and the food was amazing … also Brenden was amazing at check in, there were a few little issues but he made sure everything was made right and he went above and beyond … also Corbin, Randy and Mason were really cool servers and bartenders. Hotel king suite was nice and roomy … mountain view wasn’t really anything special … I would stay here again, but that’s because of Chef Jason and Brenden

Nice clean hotel! Easy walking distance to some nice restaurants and Warehouse Row. The rooftop bar is amazing both inside and out! Our conference had 200+ attendees and was the ballroom was perfect. Having a Starbucks in the lobby is a big plus.

This was an anniversary/birthday celebration getaway and it was a COMPLETE disappointment. To start off with, upon booking I was given a total cost for the the 3 night stay, which included the breakfast package and the self parking (@ $16 per day). When we arrived and checked in the breakfast package and the self parking was included, but the girl stated that they would happy to charge it to our room (how nice of them) and after speaking to apparently a "manager", they said that they couldn't do anything about it. They also forgot to mention upon booking that they would charge an additional $150 incidental fee. Finally, after checking in (which we had to stand and wait because only 1 of the 3 employees at the front desk was checking people in while the other 2 chit chatted and was joined by a 4 employee at one point, while a line of people waited), we weren't given any information as to where to park, where the elevators were, we weren't asked if we needed any help etc., it was just here are your keys. We got to our room which was a King Room with a Mountain View, ha, what a joke, but we did have a fantastic view of the parking garage. I will say that the room was very clean and the there was a big shower with glass doors. After walking around the whole hotel we were able to find a way to get to the rooftop restaurant and lounge (again we were not given any information about anything at the hotel). The rooftop lounge was nice and the views were great, but the menu was extremely limited and not very appealing so we ended up going to the Stills & Mash bar/restaurant. The bartender was great, very personable, but the menu there was extremely limited as well, but we ended up getting the burger which was really good. The bartender was able to give us some ideas of what to do in Chattanooga (again since the hotel provided no information). The breakfast at the Forge was good and the service was good as well. The hotel must've been hosting a group of young college kids (at least that's what we assumed) and after knowing that we were there for a special occasion, the put us on the floor with were most of them were staying and every night we had to listen to them knocking on doors, talking and being very loud (after 11pm til about 7am time frames were). Also the hotel allows pets, we are pet lovers ourselves, but I draw the line with owners leaving their stressed out dogs in the room and they bark non stop. We did go to the front desk on that, as well as many others on our floor, and they did seem to take care of that. What I don't understand is why they don't have a specific floor for pets, they are scattered throughout the hotel. I did forget to mention that I am a veteran so I was getting somewhat of a discount on the room, so maybe that's why they put us on a floor that was mainly young college kids and tons of pets and a crappy view room, oh and our room was NOT cleaned once while we were there. Housekeeping came at around 8:30/9 and knocked on the door and asked if we needed towels, so we did get fresh towels 2 of the mornings, but they never came back to clean. Other than the bartender and our server for breakfast, the staff sucked, especially the employees working the front desk when we checked in and I do believe one of them was a manager. This was by far the worst experience I've had a Hilton Hotel and truthfully at any hotel that I've stayed in.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. No one to take a our bags to the room. The valet staff was friendly but not well trained. Had no idea where to charge our EV or if the parking deck had a charging station. Front desk staff was non existent. Requested a bar of soap that never came. When they serviced the room they took 4 towels and replaced them with 2 and never made the bed in the 3 days we were there. Requested soap again , still didn't arrive. We were missing a desk chair and the chair in the room was stained had to use one of the 2 towels to cover it. Found a credit card from the previous guest on the floor under the desk making us wonder if the room had been properly cleaned. Mold in the shower answered that question.

Not worth the money, staff were friendly and polite but every time you turn around you are reaching into your pocket. Pricy to say the least. Breakfast cool coffee until the third cup. Cost of parking.

We appreciate you selecting The Chattanoogan Hotel - Curio Collection by Hilton as your hotel of choice while visiting Chattanooga. Thank you for providing candid feedback to help improve operational deficiencies for all valued guests. We apologize for not meeting yours or our expectations. We are very competitive in our parking rates, but unfortunately we do not own the parking garage so we do not have much leverage. Parking is downtown is very reasonable compared to other cities in the Southeast. I do apologize. We hope to see you in your future travels.

Location is within walking distance to Main St, Station St, Market St, Chattanooga Choo Choo and more! Very short driving distance to the Aquarium and Ruby Falls. We visited with the intention of walking around and exploring the area around the property BUT you could honestly plan a stay at The Chattanoogan and never leave the property... there are plenty of things to do without even leaving the hotel! The bed and pillows were amazing. The lobby was beautifully decorated and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. The ONLY negative thing I can say is that information regarding parking is not readily available or accurate online. Both self parking and valet parking are available. During our stay the rates were $16/day for self parking and $22/day for valet.

Disappointing and very expensive. I was on a road trip with two other friends . One of us booked three rooms ( we each had a room ). When we arrived about 8:00pm we were told that all the Hilton Honor Points had to remain with the person who made the reservation , even though we were each paying for our own room . For reasons not yet known my room was twice as expensive as the rooms for the other two travelers. I paid almost $500 for one night ! They tried to explain that the person making the reservations had used Hilton Honors points to lower the rate for two of the rooms . That is not true but in any event this hotel is not worth anywhere near $500 a night! The valet Parkers were terrific but it would be very helpful for those guests arriving by car if the hotel would put a sign on Broad street noting the location of the hotel but stating entrance is off the side street . My GPS. Kept us going up and down Broad street. In the morning when we checked out the staff was friendly and allocated the Hilton Honors Points to each of us. They did not understand why the night clerk checking us in would not do it . Chattanooga has a number of nice hotels . This is not one of them.

The hotel is decent. It’s a bit older and has some dated features but overall clean and well-maintained. I ran into some issues and had to notify the front desk of my concerns. The staff was responsive and quick to address my concerns. What could have been a bad experience was mitigated by great customer service from Brook and Shannel. Brook issued a breakfast voucher as a resolution and by the time I departed, Shantel’s great customer service and pleasant demeanor put the matter to rest. The food at the Forge was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I would visit again.

Please check your receipt before you leave the property. I was double charged for valet parking, which should have been a simple thing to correct, but I have made countless phone calls, talked to quite a few Hilton agents and no one can contact the front desk to correct this. They simply do not answer the phone.

Thanks for choosing to stay with us. We do appreciate it, and I do apologize if the phone was not answered in a timely manner. As a Hilton Honors member, if there is an email on file, a copy of the folio is emailed to you after the night audit is run as well as the front desk team should have offered to print it out. I forwarded a copy of the folio/bill to you.
