Private and peaceful, to say the least. Such a treat to get away from the typical "full service" hotel atmosphere without "points" and "loyalty promotions" being shoved down your throat. The staff is top-notch and personable -- everything from the arrival greeting at the door, to "wine and cheese" hour conversation, and even a quick tour around the property. My...

We had a great stay at the inn. The room was spacious and the outside tub was a special treat. Brian delivered our breakfast and it was outstanding. Lots of room, very comfortable, and a very cool vibe. We loved it.

It's better than your average B&B but this place could be a real winner with a little tender loving care and better housekeeping. The room was large with a private bath and a balcony, a flat screen TV, fireplace, spa tub and shower. The floors were original hardwood but very uneven. There were scratches and missing plaster spots on the...

Thank you for your review of the StoneFort Inn. It’s interesting that you mentioned the need for a bit of tweaking on housekeeping because we are currently working with a consultant to raise our level of service in this area to the highest standards possible. We feel like we have been doing a good job but believe we can improve,...

A wonderful place to stay. Everyone is so friendly and professional. Nice touches like wine and cheese in the evening and cookies in the afternoon make for a warm welcome. The breakfast was absolutely marvelous. We will most certainly go back. Thank you Stone Fort Inn for such a nice stay. Job well done!!!!

We recently stayed in Chattanooga for a quick getaway. My husband and I loved being downtown and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff was more than gracious and the breakfast was one of the best we have had. We did not, however, get much sleep. Between the garbage trucks at 2 am, the birds chirping all night...

Thank you, Brian, James and Dee for making our anniversary weekend so special! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and like we had been there a thousand times before. The Inn has so much character and warmth. Our large room was very comfortable with a wonderful, sky high bed. The bathroom was roomy with a...

We happened to arrive when the inn was having a banquet for the 50 top women of Chattanooga but Innkeeper James still managed to make us feel welcome .We were there for 3 nights and James was always at the top of his game! Our room was elegant, only problem was noise from the room above us, which only happened...

I flew out to Chattanooga for a job interview. I was picked up from the airport and after a quick lunch in town I went to the bed and breakfast inn, known as Stone Fort Inn. What a beautiful historic building, with antique yet strong furniture. The Inn was sparkling clean from the floors to the chandeliers that enhanced your...

We came to Chattanooga for our 3rd anniversary trip and stayed at the Stone Fort Inn. It was just wonderful. The person at the front desk was an Auburn graduate, as am I, and we spoke at length about Auburn. She helped us get a lovely table at St. Johns and helped us find a place to watch a basketball...
