Our daugther's wedding was just held in Chattanooga. The families decided to stay here and the Stone Fort also did a very large reheasrsal dinner for us. It all went off as planned and with no glitches. It's one of those rare places where the staff really seems to care about the guest experience.

My husband and I stayed at the Stonefort Inn for our honeymoon after hearing glowing reviews from friends. They weren't kidding! James made check-in a breeze. The room was beautiful, the Jacuzzi was great, every last detail was just wonderful!

Brian was expecting our arrival and was very gracious in welcoming us to the Inn and making us feel at home. He was knowledgeable about the restaurants in the area and made dinner reservations for us. The next morning, on Saturday, Brian prepared a delectable gourmet breakfast for the guests, as Lacey helped serve us. We enjoyed our attractive room,...

I am a native to Chattanooga, and was married in the morning in early January 2010. On many occasions, I have heard about the beautiful rooms at The Stone Fort Inn. With our photographers recommendation, and proximity to the wedding event space, we met with the staff of the inn 3 months in advance about the wedding and booked our...

RESPONSE TO “ IF YOU ARE PLANNING AN EVENT “ REVIEW The guest who wrote this review did not have an event at the Stonefort Inn. The guest rented 2 or 3 sleeping rooms here. Their event venue did not allow early access and here's what happened-- They invited some of their guests to gather here (about 20 of them)...

Wow, what a difference a day makes! A friend and I checked in on April 29 after a flight from New York and a drive from Knoxville - what James and Brian might have lacked in Hilton polish they more than make up for in local knowledge, excellent recommendations on restaurants and one of the finest breakfasts I can recall...

The hotels website and description make this place look like a quaint boutique hotel. In actuality it is poorly maintained and dirty. Huge scuff marks on walls from furniture(no touch up paint??) unprofessional front desk when you walk in that is a mess, and dirty, dirty rooms. The jacuzzi tub was a selling point for me, but after looking around at...

What a completely wonderful place to stay! We will never stay at a regular hotel in Chattanooga again. There is no comparison to the personal service, atomosphere, and overall enjoyment that we received here. It is truly a magical place where you feel as if you have gone back in time and can competely relax and forget all worries. Edi,...

My husband and I were looking for a get away for a long weekend and found that and more at the Stone Fort Inn. The inn is located in the heart of Chattanooga one block from the free downtown shuttle and within walking distance of great restaurants and shopping. Our room at the inn was very large with a sitting...

The StoneFort Inn is a fantastic lodging experience. My wife and I stayed here last week and loved everything from the eclectic yet tasteful decor of the rooms, the fantastic complimentary chocolate chip cookies, and Brian, who is a fantastic host/innkeeper who gave us great dinner recommendations. This inn is centrally located in downtown Chattanooga with only a one block...
