The owners Martin and Bryan are the ultimate hosts. Upon welcoming you at the front door we were offered coffee in the living room and our hosts remained on hand to ensure all requests and enquiries were taken care off. This stunning country home is immaculate and tastefully decorated with artifacts of interest from both Ireland and places far afield....

I spent four nights in this beautifully restored country house. I stayed in one of the courtyard suits. Everything in the rooms was perfect - comfy bed, beautiful linen, furnishings, craft pieces - total luxury without being ostentatious. The highlight however was the food - the most delicious fresh tasty breakfast ever!

Kilgraney Country House is a magical oasis. Everything in this home is of an exquisite taste. The accommodations, the beauty of the house, the gardens and small corners of flowers, window boxes full of herbs and spices, the superb breakfast and above all the friendliness and warm welcome from Brian and Martin transform this place into a magical world. A...

We were met by the owner whom we liked straight away, He made us a lovely coffee on arrival and showed us are chalet which was beautiful, All seemed fine but we didn't notice there was no shower, the toilet didn't work properly and the bed was hard. The breakfast and service was fantastic and as I said we thought...

Kilgraney House is a fantastic throwback to another era of Ireland. It's a quiet and secluded Georgian gem of a place. The house and the grounds are extremely well kept. And a peaceful retreat from a modern hustle and bustle. It's important to note that this is, first and foremost, a family home. So consider it as very very upmarket...

I came to stay at Kilgraney House for a wedding which was happening nearby. The house is stunning as are the grounds. Huge living rooms with high ceilings and a gorgeous herb garden. Breakfast was lovely too. I can see that a friend of mine has posted to say that the owner seemed a little unimpressied with such a loud...

Lovely house, average rooms, poor bathrooms and almost no water pressure in the shower, but the worst part of all was the rude grumpy owner and for that reason alone I would never return. We were quite a loud group but he was rude from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. It's a shame as the house...

One of Monte Carlow's many hidden gems. Super food with many delightful touches (ginger and bay ice-cream, dont see that every day!) and the gardens and grounds are both beautiful and fascinating with a Cosmic Garden, a Medieval Garden, and and Oncology Garden. Brilliant. There is also an exhibition space with Bryan & Martin's design work. A real treat.

Lovely romantic rural setting outside Borris. Beautiful herb, vegetable and astrological(!) gardens. Everything done by the hosts themselves including the cooking. Dinner is said to be an experience but we only availed of breakfast which was very good. Stayed in the 'loft' with a view over the garden towards the Barrow river. Great for a short break away from the...

Stayed here for our anniversary. A wonderful house and location well run and clearly well loved. The food is great and the rooms are equally well managed. The herb gardens are really interesting too, and a testament to the work put in by the owners.
