If you are going to this beautiful part of the world, I'd strongly recommend staying here. It's a lovely Georgian house that's been lovingly restored by its owners. We had a really large comfortable bedroom with a comfortable bed, good quality sheets and a really good bathroom. The owners are really pleasant and are happy to chat but aren't intrusive....

If you are looking for an experience of a bygone era this is it. The property has been painstakingly and beautifully restored with an olde world feel. Mary and Jeremy provide an attentive service, and a wonderful breakfast array. My wife and I loved our three nights there and would highly recommend.

Kilmahon House is the nicest B&B I've ever been to in my life. Everything there is perfect and beautiful. Gorgeous linens and towels, lovely rooms that look out on lovely Irish countryside. The house is very peaceful and serene. Breakfast is fantastic: Mary bakes delicious scones and muffins each morning and Jeremy does bacon and eggs to order. The two...

My partner and I decided to stay at Kilmahon house while on our trip to Ireland because it looked like a perfect place to relax and get away completely from the noise of the city. And we couldn't be more right! Our hosts Mary and Jeremy were genuinily friendly and provided 5 stars service during all of our stay, always...

Kilmahon House isn't the cheapest B&B but if you want a treat, a real treat.... then Jeremy & Mary's elegantly comfortable home is perfect. As well as a genuinely warm welcome, you get a beautifully appointed bedroom- in our case with a bed so big we almost needed GPS to find each other! It's not a place for those who...

We stayed at Kilmahon House and cannot rate it highly enough. Mary and Jeremy were very warm, welcoming and served excellent food. Our room was lovely. The facilities were very good. The breakfast presentation was superb and Mary was kind enough to allow us to take a small goody bag of homemade treats which we shared with our party. The...

Genuine care and attention from Mary and Jeremy. Wonderful overnight stopover. My partner wasn't feeling well and the couple immediately offered dinner in with a glass of wine. Bedrooms were so comfortable and spacious. A real treasure

What a wonderful couple of days we spent in Shanagarry at the Kilmahon House! Definitely one of the best B&Bs we've ever had the opportunity to visit. The 18th century home has been beautifully and elegantly restored. Loved the fresh flowers everywhere and taking in the view of the gorgeous grounds from every window. Mary and Jeremy thoroughly spoiled us...
