You may not want to trust TOM-TOM to get you here, since he'll bring you down a very narrow, rough road from the east, and drop you about 1.5 km short of your destination, but once you arrive, you've found a piece of heaven. Nice large patio to enjoy a beautiful evening in the country, and by far the roomiest...

We booked our self driving tour through an Ireland agent, this was definitely off the beaten path BUT it was perfect. My friend and I decided our agent knows what she's doing and obviously the many other B&Bs we passed were not where we were supposed to be, so we drove to the perfect spot. Restful night, beautiful grounds, gracious...

My husband and myself stayed 2 nights at Kilcatten in early June. We were first greeted with a warm & friendly smile , Noreen went above and beyond to help us feel welcome . She is also quite knowledgeable in places to visit while in Cork. We were extremely pleased with the accommodations. Rooms are clean, and inviting, and the...

Traditional B&B with family living on site, located in country setting only a few miles from Timoleague and the Coast. Room was spacious and bathroom spotlessly clean, more than enough room for a couple to spread out bags and not feel cramped. The setting is idyllic with fabulous views of the countryside, perfect place for an cup of coffee outside...

If you ware looking for a hotel within the city limits, this is not it. However, the location is great when coming off of the southern peninsula, when going north towards Cork or Blarney. Close to a couple of OPW sites. The owners have really made an effort in style of the rooms and breakfast nook. They are accommodating with...

Thank you for your review and comments. Our B&B is located in a country setting in rural Ireland and no where is it advertised as anything different. It is part of the charm of Ireland. The small country villages and towns gives you the real Ireland .

We stayed for one night (Sat July 16th) at the beginning of a 7 day road trip of Cork and Kerry. We were a group of four (two adults, two children) and were pleasantly surprised by the incredibly high standard of the accommodation. We were given two rooms which were perfectly clean and had luxurious bed linen. Very clean and...

We were at Kilcatten Lodge in mid April of 2016 and I'm embarrassed that I've taken this long to write a review. This B&B is about 2 miles outside of Timoleague and provided a great base for our exploration of County Cork's coastal towns. The owners were wonderful and accommodating. There is a special kitchen available to the guests, where...

There is always a friendly smile to welcome you to Kilcatten Lodge. This family run B&B is well appointed, clean, comfortable and very accommodating to guarantee a truly memorable and relaxing stay. Our kids just love Noreen's pancakes; you won't be disappointed either by the freshly cooked breakfast and home baking. This is, without doubt, a little gem in Timoleague,...

Such a beautiful place to stay! Noreen and Joe were so friendly and helpful. This was our first real taste of Ireland. Their warm welcome, great breakfast and gorgeous views are the best! The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay there again!
