We were there last year. Even with sickness in the family, they made us feel like we were more than welcome. Rent bikes and ride to this location and have your bags sent on the ponies. The sights on the way to the Cottage are worth the price of the stay. Get away from the cities and see rustic Ireland...

Good examples of island architecture. We took the shuttle from the ferry with "Rory" as our driver and guide. He gave great details about life on the island and gave adequate time to get out, walk about and take photos. If I had more time I think it would have been good to have a nights stay on the island...

The cottage is a little gem on the island, although you will need to find transport to get there as it is on the other side of the island from the main village! But this means there are less tourists in the morning and evenings and so you have the whole place to yourselves. Including a stunning beach for a...

We wanted an authentic island experience and we certainly got that! The cottage does have amazing views but the garden could be really something if given a little attention. We stayed in the main cottage and had the en suite room. This is very basic and whilst I expected this I was disappointed that there wasn't a more homely feel...

Loved this place. It was quiet, clean and friendly. We were greeted with a nice pot of tea and bread. It is a bit out of town, but Joe got us a taxi that evening so we could go listen to music in town, and the next day for the ferry. Breakfast was lovely. The bed was comfortable, the on-suite...

You can't beat the views from the Man of Aran cottage, which sits on a hill overlooking Kilmurvey beach. It is the cottage built for the Man of Aran movie which you can watch in the sitting room. If you've seen the film watch it again as you sit by the hearth and window depicted in the film. The cottage...

Very lovely location run by a lovely couple! Just be aware that if you're not planning on dinner at the cottage, or if Joe and Maura are on the mainland, you'll be in for a 30 minute bicycle ride back to the main village, or a pre-5 pm supper at the cafe nearby. Worth taking into consideration. A couple suggestions:...

This B&B is away from the harbour but near the main megalithic site of Inishmore. It is a pilgrimage place for cinema lovers (documentary), as some of the filming of The Man of Aran was done here, a long long time ago. The homely atmosphere of the cottage is nice but the rooms in the extension are not worth their...

We had a wonderful time here, and I'd rather stay here, at the middle of the island, near Dun Aengus and the beautiful beach, than over in town. The food was excellent, especially dinner, and ESPECIALLY the homemade deserts. If you're lucky Maura will have made French apple cake. Joe and Maura are the real deal, and although they give...

Lovely spot and lovely hosts! And, I was given tea and cookies when I arrived. Wi-fi service was excellent from my window sill. Great wood and stone room, but inadequate shower. My room was very cold in early November!!! When I came back cold and wet from a walk, and my room felt cold, I was told that the heat...
