Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is an awesome place. The rooms are immaculate, warm and comfy and the breakfast is great! Geraldine is a generous and welcoming host. We did the island horse and buggy tour with her son, Chris, and it was wonderful. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect first visit to the island.

Cozy, lovely, welcoming bed & breakfast a 10 minute walk from the ferry. Geraldine is a lovely host who runs a spotless inn. We enjoyed chatting with other guests in the main room in between our activities. When we arrived on the morning ferry our room wasn't ready but we could leave our luggage and go for a walk/picnic. It started raining so we were welcomed back to eat our picnic in the breakfast room. Right around the corner from several places to eat and shop. The island closes up early pre-season so be prepared! Pubs were open for food until 8:00-9:00. Her husband Thomas runs a pony and trap tour which we highly recommend doing in the evening.

Nice for a night or two as the breakfast is a nice but could use some eggs etc for people who may want to stay longer. Lovley host and close from the pier and walking distance to pubs and shops. Lots of cats, a dog and a horse to keep you company. Nice view when weather is on your side.

Perfect for a short stay. The rooms are cosy, clean and fresh. The owners are lovely, welcoming and attentive. The continental style breakfast was unique and ideal. The location is excellent for all the island ammenities such as the supermarket, bars and places to eat. There is ample space outside for bikes and seating. We did have the good fortune to visit the island during the hot and dry summer so all our experiences are positive ones. I am sure the weather can have an impact but Seacrest has the space for relaxing and chatting with other guests. We would always stay here in future.

We stayed at Seacrest B&B for a friends wedding on the island. Geraldine totally exceeded expectations as a host. She was so kind and helpful, kept a clean and establishment, and served the best breakfast. We felt right at home, and really didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend this for your stay. It’s also located very close to the main shops and restaurants.

Good breakfasts, close to the center of town, nice outdoor spot for looking out to the ocean. Comfortable room. Liked the code to get in rather than having to hang on to a key. Breakfasts were nicely served.

Really really nice B&B. Perfection at all levels: room, location, breakfast & lovely welcoming atmosphere. We have stayed 2 days on the island and enjoyed every minute of it. We were able to leave our luggage at the house for the entire stay which was helpful.
