We had a group of 150 men booked in for Breakfast at 10am on Sunday morning and again for dinner on our return journey. 3 Buses pulled up and were not left disappointed. The service and staff were excellent, all people were fed promptly and portions were plentiful. We had the same experience on our 2nd visit of the day... More

We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend for a catch up with old friends and we had a fantastic weekend thanks in no small way to Tom Tracey and his fabulous staff. Nothing is a problem to this crew and they all make it their business to make sure you know this. You will travel a long way to... More

We stopped by here for a lunch break after arriving in Dublin on route to East Clare, Our sandwiches were tasty, the service was pleasant, price was reasonable. It is located conveniently from the motorway.

Travelling from Dublin to Limerick on Sunday 25th September 2016, at approximately 5 pm stopped off here for food. What a disappointment. I had Lamb dinner, which was absolutely dreadful. The Lamb was completely dried up and vegetables were cooked a long, long time. Despite the fact that it was inedible and I was asked by four different members of... More

Travelling between Dublin and Limerick with children. Decided to stop for a family meal. Saw the Gandon Inn had good reviews. Menu choice was reasonable with a children's menu also available. Food when it arrived was poor. One meal, liver and bacon - liver was well over cooked and 'dry'. Carrots were obviously re-heated and shrivelled up. Onion gravy had... More

We now always stop hete for a good quality satisfying meal when we are driving from Dublin to Cork. The worst bit of the journey is behind you and the traffic is thinning. Stop at this lovley old residence to be lookef after by exceptionally helpful staff and very good food. The all-day-breakfast is always a winner. The specials of... More

Stayed here over night recently. On check inn the receptionist explained there would be a dance that night and it may be a little noisy. She relocated us as we needed our sleep for a golf trip. We were delighted with the room...four poster bed, jacuzzi bath, huge tv, fridge etc. Bed was really comfy and room super quiet. We... More

Many thanks for reviewing your recent stay with us. I’m happy to hear there was an upgrade available so you wouldn’t be disturbed by the music from the dance. We had our premier room soundproofed this year during some upgrade works, I’m delighted you found it so comfortable and quiet. I’m happy to see our staff accommodated your early breakfast... More

We stopped here today just by chance on our way home from kerry. We had turkey and ham dinner and bacon and cabbage. Very traditional fare but well presented and well cooked. Not over cooked or over seasoned. It was very tasty indeed. And quick friendly service and obviously very popular judging by the busy bar and dining room.
