Our adult son and us had been frantically trying to get accommodation having been let down as we were attending a wedding. Anne came up trumps. Beautiful room and a beautiful breakfast. She herself was so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay again.

Found the Laois County Lodge at the last minute and what a find it was for an overnight stay in Port Laois. Immaculately clean and a great location with only a 5 to 10 minute walk into the center of town. But more then the property was the lovely host Ann who made my brother and i feel so welcome, i was not up for the breakfast the net morning before heading home so Ann had plenty of black coffee and water plus she even offered to make me a sandwich for the road back to Kerry - Thanks ever so much Ann

Great little property not too far from the town centre, very cosy and clean. Breakfast was top notch, freshly cooked and choice was good. Lovely owner Ann, very nice and kind, a pleasure to talk to and makes you feel at home.

I was ill from a long walk from Dublin. Ann was an angel! I visited in June of 2018 and I plan to return each summer! I almost met Dana. It broke my heart that I was out in town and Missed my chance. The breakfast was fantastic!

Anne went over and above to look after me during my stay at the Laois County Lodge. There isn't enough good things to say about this b&b. You'll be greeted with a heartfelt welcome, and cooked an amazing breakfast every morning. The rooms are clean and warm and very quiet. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me :)

I arrived in Ireland last July and Ann was our host. After that i had been to many places, stayed all over Ireland but haven't find such hospitality. The rooms are very comfortable. B&B is situated on main Dublin road just in front of Hospital. City centre is just 15 minutes walk. All food options are available within 10 minutes drive maximum. Cant say much about breakfast because I didn't try but we felt like we are at home in our 5 days stay. Highly recommended
