Stayed here last night while at a wedding in kilshane house. It's a lovely old country house. Not every room ensuite which worried me a little at first, but soon overcome. It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish, spotlessly clean. The home cooked breakfast was best I ve ever had as were the beautiful home made scones. The... More

I love the Bansah House for many reasons....it's a 300 year old mansion, it's a beautiful horse farm, and the family is wonderful! It's about 6 miles from Tipperary town, and central to major tourist sites. You can also catch a train on the Limerick road to Dublin for a day trip. Mary Marnane, the hostess, is an amazing cook,... Beautiful Georgian house and horse farm. Terrific hosts. Very comfortable and includes delicious breakfast. Truly one of the two most beautiful and restful places at which we stayed during our trip to Ireland. The horses in the paddock outside our window just added to the atmosphere of the property.

Arrived at Bansha House and welcomed by Mary at the Hall door where upon she invited us straight in for cup of tea and scones in her lovely comfortable kitchen. Hows that for an Irish " Cead Mile Failte" We stayed two nights as we were attending a wedding locally. Rooms are small but very comfortable. The breakfast was really... More

I stayed with my wife at Bansha House for 2 nights and we had such a great time. The house / room is very cosy and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, Mary is a lovely host, eveything was perfect. The area is beautiful and typical irish ! If you are visiting Ireland, have a stop, you won't regret.

Mary greeted us at the door of her wonderful country estate, along with her grand daughter playing the piano. We had been driving for a few hours and were searching for a good restaurant in the area so she recommended O'Neills. (One of the best restaurants we've tried in Ireland so far). She asked what time we'd like for breakfast,... More

We stayed in Bansha House for 2 nights, whilst attending a wedding in Kilshane House (March 2015). Room was really comfortable and we were made to feel very welcome by all. Tea/coffee and slice of cake on arrival. Fire set in the sitting room etc. Mary was an absolute star. Extremely friendly and had great breakfasts cooked up both mornings.... More

This was our second stay and Bansha house. The owner is very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Her grandaughter was a lovely young lady that kindly gave me a tour of the stables and told me about every horse housed there. The rooms are quite nice and very comfortable. Loved it!

Stayed here two nights, with my siblings & our families, as we attended my niece's wedding at nearby Kilshane House. Thoroughly enjoyed Bansha House. Everything was wonderful, from the rooms to the breakfast to the lovely ladies who work with Mary to provide this great experience. Our room was huge and spotless. Our shared bathroom was unusual, but no problem... More

I stayed at the Bansha House the first time I visited Ireland, and went back many times. I found this B&B in a catalog, and went there on faith. It was love at first sight! Imagine my delight when I found that the hospitality and comfort inside matched the grandeur of the grounds outside. The word "Charm" was invented for... More
