When we were in County Wicklow, Ireland we chose to stay at the Riversdale House. The B&B is located in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains, sitting on a stream. The views are stunning. There is a stone walkway over the stream that will take you to a walking path that leads to the village. Unfortunately during our visit the...

A very friendly and lovely home that we spent two nights at. My husband and I were walking the Wicklow Way and took an extra day off in Glendalough. Crossing the river on stepping stones to Riversdale was a fun entrance. Everyone was very friendly and assisted us in getting us to a restaurant in the evening.

A friendly and welcoming b&b. Room and breakfast were fine and we were given good advice about places to eat locally. A real bonus is the fact that you can park your car and walk to the Glendalough visitor centre: just cross the river on the stepping stones and it's a pleasant 15 minute walk along the riverbank.

When we arrived there was no hot water available. The car park was unlit at night and surface was uneven. Breakfast was mediocre and house cold. We had to vacate the room at 10:30am. Hosts were unfriendly.

Please note that this review has been posted to the wrong Guest House. Our check out time is 11.am. I think that our past reviews speak for themselves.

This B&B was extremely difficult to find. The sat nav did not recognise the road name and of course there was no post code. When we found the village no one I asked could help. There is actually a sign on the corner at the split in the road on entering the village but difficult to see. Directions saying this...

The Wicklow Mountains provide for quite a bit of stunning scenery and Riversdale House has been built in the middle of such a scene. The views from the room and the beautiful breakfast room are stunning. Such audacity to build a B&B on such a location! Glendalough can be reached in a 15 minute walk, the restaurants and small shop...

This place had a beautiful dining room with great view and located close to Glendalough just a short walk by the small river. The room was nothing fancy but fine and clean. The owner was friendly and helpful. Please notice that they add 3% if you pay by credit card.

This was my favorite place to stay over my eleven day stay on the whole perimeter of Ireland. Very comfortable beds, modern conveniences, hearty breakfast, loads of literature available to read about the area, and convenient for a walk into town and Monastic City. It was nice have a fan available for the warmer evening since it was recommended not...

Stayed at Riversdale House for 4 nights while on a walking break in Wicklow. Can't recommend this B&B highly enough. Lovely friendly proprietors, immaculately clean, tasty breakfast and excellent location, lovely walk by stream to Glendalough Hotel. Wonderful Place to Stay

I stayed here for my last two nights in Ireland and it's only 1-1/2 hours from Dublin Airport. The bed was very comfortable, my room was larger than some hotels I've stay in. Liam suggested it was a good night to leave the windows open since it was windy and the summer "midges" wouldn't come in. I loved having a...
