Bramble Rock is a family run B&B situated 350 metres from the centre of Laragh village up a quiet road past St John's Church. While staying at our home we hope that you relax and enjoy our hospitality and make the most of all that Laragh and Glendalough have to offer within walking distance. We have views over Trooperstown from two of the rooms and Derrybawn from another room. You can relax in our living room area and read any of the books we have available or just listen to the birds singing. All our rooms are en-suite and spacious. Two of them can accommodate a family. A good night's sleep is guaranteed in our comfortable beds. Each morning we invite you to choose from our tasty breakfast menu and enjoy home-cooked bread and local produce. We can also cater for special dietary requirements too. The Duffy family look forward to welcoming you to our home for what we hope will be the first of many visits.

What a wonderful place to stay.. great location in Laragh with walking access to great pub and restaurant, as well as all there is to see and do in Glendalough. Spacious, clean rooms and the best Irish breakfast! Anne our host was amazing and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely, welcoming, comfortable B&B just a short walk from the town's center. My friend and I stayed here two nights while walking the Wicklow Way and we loved it. One of the most outstanding aspects was the breakfast, which featured a buffet that had a huge variety of freshly cut-up fruit (not canned!) that Ann had clearly cut up that morning, and it was such a treat with the fresh muesli and yogurt. If you're used to eating a lot of fresh produce, you do tend to miss it in Ireland, so this was great. The room details were incredibly thoughtful right down to the coffee and tea amenities. I also loved how Ann introduced us to another pair of women hikers during breakfast--it was fun to talk to them, and I think she knew we'd get along. The walk to town is maybe 10 minutes and it does involve a hill, so beware if you would have trouble with this. Highly recommended! We'd go back in a heartbeat!…

Your Home Away From Home in Laragh. This is a family run B&B that is exceptionally clean and welcoming. The owners are very helpful and can offer suggestions to the travelers. The breakfast options are varied and all are prepared well. Don’t expect elegance, just very good accommodations and superb service.

From the moment I booked this B&B, I knew we would have a great stay. Ann was a wonderful host who put us at ease from the moment we arrived. Exceptionally clean, comfortable and in a beautiful quiet location off the main road. Only a 5 min walk to the nearest pub/restaurants and convenience store in Laragh. Absolutely delicious breakfasts which kept us fuelled for the day as we navigated the Wicklow Mountains. Ann also provided us with packed lunches for the day which eased the pressure of having to find something to buy nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. We will be back and we will certainly recommend Bramble Rock to our friends and family. Thank you Ann.

This b&b is in the country but only a 5 minute walk into the village. B&B is clean and very welcoming and we were made to feel at home. Rooms were clean and we wanted for nothing. Having the use of a fridge / freezer was very useful as no one likes warm wine or beer. Village has shops, hotel, and a great restaurant. The Wicklow Heather Restaurant is always very busy and the food is fantastic. Ann offered to drive us into the village when it was raining. Thanks. Best of all was the cooked breakfast…amazing and one of the best we have ever had. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Glendalough.

For all walkers, this B&B is heaven. Its extremely quiet, the bedrooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. The host was kind and attentive and we really enjoyed our chats. We were there for only a short stay but will be back to stay longer to enjoy the many walks in the area. The bedroom was large and the bathroom spotless, it was actually better than the hotel we stayed in the night before. There was no bath but we don't use baths so made no difference to us. I can not recommend this to walkers and others who want to enjoy the scenic area highly enough.

We stayed in Ireland for 3 weeks, and Bramble Rock is certainly one of the best B&B that we stayed in. We had the Ash room upstairs: very big, clean, cosy and confortable. The breakfasts are outstanding. The hosts are very nice and ensure that your stay is as good as possible. I can't recommend it enough !
