There is an indoor pool which some of our group used they said it was difficult to get out of and a bit on the cool side.
There is a nice grassed area in the grounds of the hotel which has loungers available (there are cushions stored in the pool area )
meal wise the breakfast was really good plenty of choice fruit's be careful prunes still had stones in them yogurts cereals etc even cheese that you could cut yourself
then you could order the English breakfast which was also very good.
evening meal wise the menu was a tad on the pricy side (but it is a hotel)!! and never seemed to change
we did have the pizza's one night which were good but decided to eat out the other nights
also there is a very well stocked coop 5-10 minute walk away
further afield the main bus stop is a few minutes walk from the hotel which an excellent bus service
(it is worthwhile downloading the liberty bus app as it links will google maps so you can track buses) there is a 3 day ticket costing £23.50 (price correct as of sep 24)
we were able to get to all the places we wanted to visit
a few we would recommend ,the jersey war tunnels ,la mere wine estate ,samares manor st Aubin's brelades bay.
so to sum up nice hotel not much in the immediate area but a good base to explore from
Beausitehotel is ideally placed for a lovely walk into Gorey (about 25mins walk) or the bus stops right outside.
Should you not wish to eat here, there is a lovely pub that also serves delicious food right opposite on main road, with decent prices and the food there is amazing too.
There are also two shops within walking distance, a co op and a iceland that also has a petrol station. Also the infamous Entwistles fish and chip shop in gorey (near Maison Gorey hotel).
Close to golf course.
We decided to have a Sunday roast here at the Beausite hotel, the waiting on staff were absolutely lovely, however we were sadly not impressed with their roast potatoes which were served warm, very dry and so anaemic, to say the least, (decent roasties should always be served hot, crispy and brown), gravy was watery. So after this meal, we didn't eat here again for evening meals.
Slight negatives: Beds are In need of a upgrade (but note the rooms are spotless and were cleaned regularly).
Need silent room door closures, as throughout the night, early morning you were woken by doors being slammed.
But a lovely hotel and we would stay here again.
There is a beach opposite (walk round the perimeter of the golf course) or a short walk towards Gorey.
Hotel had good sized rooms, comfy beds and was clean and tidy. Lovely staff who were always helpful and friendly. Even cheerfully assemebled a fan for one of our rooms as the room was getting hot. Our other room was ground floor with huge opening windows. Bathroom was new with walk in shower (no step).
Good cooked breakfast all served quickly and plenty of staff around to bring coffee/toast.
Pool was good to cool down in and there is a garden area to sit and relax in or to have a drink.
I would definitely recommend this hotel as a good base for Jersey, it is comfy, friendly, good breakfast and has lovely staff.
Quiet area with only one other place to eat The Pembroke pub, they don't serve food on a Sunday after 5.
The food was good ,breakfast was hot and plentiful. Cooked breakfast ,cereal, fresh fruit ,Yog and pastries.
The evening meal was good ,with a decent size portion ,slightly expensive for a 3 * hotel. Ensure you book for an evening meal
They serve snacks outside the restaurant time, just sandwiches and salads, these are quite expensive £9.35 for a cheese and ham sandwich.
The room we stayed in 235 was very small ,only one chair ,you can just about get through past the bed and the dressing table. The room is very dated and needs bringing up to standard. No Aircon and the window only opens a couple of inches,we kept it shut quite a bit otherwise the cooking smells from the kitchen came in.
Beds were pretty soft and uncomfortable.
The bathroom and room were very clean.
Pool was nice although it could do with a clean around the edges
All the staff were very nice especially the waiting staff.
We walked into Gorey a few times ,about 20 mins to visit the castle, beach and to eat,can recommend the food at The Dolphin.
Would we stay again not in that room ,having spoken to others it seems that some rooms have been done up
The food is excellent ditto the bar and pool area.
Sadly the quality of the beds negates the entire experience. Sleep is an integral part of a holiday and we got very little sleep. The mattresses were dreadful. Poor quality and impossible to sleep on. I appreciate that it's not viable to install Hypnos quality beds in all rooms but an upgrade is desperately needed. Sadly we were not alone in this as other guests remarked on their sleep deprivation. For this reason only we won't be back. Realistically it would be pointless complaining to management as they are not going to replace a mattress on the spot are they? Such a shame.

Food was lovely, both at breakfast and dinner. Service was good although room cleaning times varied, sometimes up to 4pm before ours was serviced. Parking is free but tight.
The hotel had a lovely relaxed feel about it and we enjoyed our time here and would come again
But it is not a place for couples looking for night life. Good for families - it has an indoor pool, and a fitness centre (we did not use these facilities). If you don't want half board, a bus trip into St Helier or Gorey harbour (at the other end of the bay) would be needed for eating elsewhere.
The hotel was quiet, though not full, due to Covid restrictions on travel. But we were not required to wear masks. Our room was smallish, but comfortable and clean with individual duvets on comfortable linked mattresses. When I found out how the mixer tap worked there was plenty of hot water for the mini-bath.
Background music in the restaurant was not intrusive and waitresses friendly and attentive. Breakfasts were good - eggs freshly fried and choice of cereals, fruit and yogurt, though coffee not as strong as we like. Evening meals excellent value at £25 for three courses. Imaginative menu, with delicious starters and different meat and fish served each day with plenty of vegetables: we didn't sample the vegetarian dishes. Then tempting and delicious items on the sweet trolley.
Management and staff were delightful people from a variety of countries, and very helpful. We'd be more than happy to stay there again. One couple we met goes every year!

We had always enjoyed staying in Gorey so decided to book the Beausite Hotel for 5 nights for the 7 of us.
Wow! We are so glad we did from the minute we arrived everything was just perfect from our rooms to the food and service.
Talking of service I can honestly say we haven’t experienced such fabulous service like that in some of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in, they couldn’t do enough for you from the breakfast staff to the evening meal staff especially Joanna who was a delight they are a credit to the hotel.
Breakfast was great plenty of choice from full English to cereals and a choice of pastry’s and all cooked to your liking.
We ate twice for dinner again superb food and choices, and our last evening we had the Sunday roast which was delicious.
We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel. Thank you!
