What a wonderful family-owned and operated business. Kathy and Michael are caring, hard-working and delightful. The new portion of the hotel we stayed in was top notch with kitchenette, updated bathroom, and extremely comfortable bed! What a little gem in a quiet Southern town. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Not an overly impressive place but definitely quaint and worth the visit. It is a bit pricey and that would be my only real complaint. Room was neat and clean, but they could work on making the furnishings more antique and period, then history people would love it. Oh and they need to think about some "Do not disturb "... More

Good choice for a Linden stop; pleasant, quite, nicely renovated rooms. Several buildings, all part of the same hotel, offer options in the center of town. Continental breakfast is limited but there are a couple of good mom/pop places in town. The town has done a lot of sprucing up and most pleasant to visit.

We happened on this lovely hotel by chance. They were hosting a Murder mystery dinner show and it was so much fun! The owners and town folks were so welcoming and the lovely southern charm and fabulous hospitality were truly amazing! Thank you Linden TN. From your new friends from Canada.

My husband took me here as a surprise. We saw it on Tennessee Crossroads and we were excited to come. My husband booked us as a surprise. I was most certainly surprised. I was surprised by the dated and awful decor...think wall paper boarders and mismatched dorm roof motif or restored to 1980 opposed to original charm. I was especially... More

This hotel is an historic treasure; but it assuredly not a restored treasure. There have been some renovations but they are cheap and ill done. It seems their goal was to cover up not restore. I was very sad to see such shoddy work or no try at restoration that would be long term. The bathrooms were old with mildew... More

Booked directly with the hotel and got a cheaper price than online sources which was nice. The receptionist was very hospitable and even said they'd await our late arrival. As promised Trish was waiting for us at 10pm and couldn't have been nicer! She made us a couple cocktails, explained the hotel amenities, and showed us to our room. For... More

We visited with the intention of staying one night and stayed the whole weekend! The hotel has been very nicely restored. We also toured 2 other buildings that are a part of the Commodore and never expected that such class was available in a small town. The food at the restaurant was also great. We had several meals while we... More

Very nice clean and comfortable place in an unexpected little town. Loved the live music on Friday night in the restaurant. Very charming little town. Enjoyed good food and coffee. The town was very friendly and we loved the live auction just off the square in one of the little buildings. We are sure to visit Linden again!

My room was huge - like a studio apartment. It was clean and nicely decorated. They had a very inexpensive breakfast that was far better than the "free breakfast" offered at many chains. I will definitely be back.
