We stayed for a wekk here as B&B. The hotel overlooks the harbour, so try to book a room overlooking it. Rooms are clean and comfortable, good quality towels, and are a resonable size. The shower/toilet is tiny; manageable, but you need to know. Breakfast is full English, or components thereof, also cereals avilable, toast, good coffee. Aso a continental breakfast is available. The resturant is downstairs, and the food is Itaian-inspired and excellent. You need to book, or you should, even though you are staying. If the weather is good, book a table outside, have your meal overlooking the harbour. The establishment is Italian-owned, and it's a family affair. Staff are cheerful friendly and very helpful.
Location is fab right on the harbour. Staff were friendly, if harried. Helped with the horrendous parking problem of St Aubin. Room was clean but really tiny, but was aware of that before booking from reading reviews. Wouldn't want to spend more than a couple of nights as too cramped and there were no common areas to hang out in. Breakfast is a 1960s time warp - your basic old-fashioned fry-up with zero new-fangled options such as fruit (tinned or fresh) yogurt, granola. Coffee so bad we went to Costa after breakfast. Toilet had serious flushing problems. Not too expensive by Jersey standards, but would think twice about staying again. Restaurant similarly had great aspect looking onto harbour and was always packed. Presumably a different chef to the breakfast crew.
Had a delighted 10 days here. Room was adequate, if a little small, but spotlessly clean. Room made up every morning while we were at breakfast and clean towels every day. We stayed on a half board basis and were not disappointed. Breakfast menu had a good choice, with plenty of tea and toast. Half board menu did not change during our visit, but could order from the al a carte menu and just pay the difference. Staff were always cheerful and very helpful. Would highly recommend this guest house and especially a sea view room for the fabulous views out over harbour.
Had a fantastic three nights at this hotel. Lucked out with the weather and spent a lot of time sat outside the restaurant, overlooking the harbour, with a beer and being thoroughly looked after by the team that work there. The rooms are basic but comfortable, mine had a sea view and was very clean. We ate at the restaurant twice and the food is excellent, booking a table is advised. One night we just wanted a fast meal and had a pizza sat on the terrace, this was amazing, the ingredients being imported from Italy by Alessandro. The team here made us feel extremely welcome, we had a good laugh with all of them and felt well looked after and very much at home. Would definitely return if visiting Jersey again.
Having stayed here in October I will certainly be booking it again I had read negative reviews however I like to see for myself and was not dissappointed for what we paid the breakfast was good and the staff were lovely the room was adequate and clean and comfortable with lovely views can't wait to go back in 2020.
