Just back from a pleasant 3 night stay. Perfect position on the harbour side, close to amenities and bus stop. Room was basic but clean and beds were comfortable. Very narrow steep stairs as an old building. We were at the back which was near the extractor fan which was a bit noisy . Bathroom was very small with just a toilet and small shower cubicle , wash basin was in the bedroom, but everything worked ok so not a problem. Breakfast was good but would be nice to have had some fruit. We had dinner here on our first night and it was excellent as was the service. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room was at back and the drawback was air con and kitchen extractor noise. Breakfast is first class as was dinner. The owner knows all guests by name and treats you like a VIP.

We had a lovely stay at Bon Viveur. The manager and staff were very attentive and nothing was too much bother. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plenty of it and the food in restaurant downstairs was absolutely delicious we ate here most nights The rooms were comfortable and kept spotless only downside is the ensuite as its very small only toilet pan and small step in shower …the sink is in the bedroom!! There is a few stairs to climb to get to rooms which are quite tight to get up and down and need to mind your head at bottom. We stayed in room 10 which had beautiful views of marina and had benefit of side window and front window views are stunning. Would definitely stay again ideal location and bus stops only minute from guest house

This was our first visit to Jersey and we made a perfect choice for St Aubin and the Bon Viveur. We were more than happy with the refurbished room overlooking the port, waking up to the view everyday was wonderful. The ensuite is due for a refurbishment which is needed. We were made to feel so welcome and the manager and staff were professional and friendly. The food served within the restaurant was excellent and St Aubin has many good restaurants but we found this restaurant by far the best. The waiting staff are trained to a high standard and this shows with the quality of service provided. A special mention to Fabrizio, Palo, Theresa and of course the chef.

Rooms spotless breakfast excellent and freshly cooked to order, we dined at the Italian restaurant attached to the hotel and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend this place to anyone......PS the views across St Aubin's Bay were amazing.

Bon Viveur is a guest house above a superb Italian restaurant right on the seafront in St Aubin's. The rooms are clean, well furnished and comfortable. The staff we met - the manager and the chambermaid - were very helpful and proud of the high standards they are keeping.

The Bon Viveur guest house sits above the delightful restaurant, Sorento, overlooking this small, sleepy harbour in Saint Aubin. Although Sorento is a restaurant in its own right, it also serves as the dining room for the guesthouse, which adds to the value of this three-star establishment. The passion of the Head Waiter/Manager, in particular shines through; the staff provide excellent and efficient service and good quality food - with a smile, and the rooms are comfortable, with some overlooking the beautiful harbour. I'm happy to recommend this excellent guesthouse.

This guest house is a little gem. Our daughter booked us in for 3 days as a fathers day present for her dad. We had never been to Jersey before and was quite surprised when we arrived at a beautiful little place overlooking the harbour. It is above an Italian restaurant. The rooms were spotlessly clean with small t.v and tea/coffee making facilities. The only negative thing I have to say is that the bathroom is very small -just a shower and toilet - the sink is in bedroom. The view out of our bedroom window was absolutely beautiful looking over St Aubin harbour. The staff were first class. They were all so polite with impeccable manners. Breakfast was first class together with the service (with a smile). It is in the perfect place for buses etc. which run very frequently. We found St Aubin exceptionally quiet. We ate on our final evening in the restaurant. The meal was delicious, as was the home made Tiramisu, which was to die for. I would definitely recommend the Bon Viveur to anybody wanting a nice little break.

Cannot fault Bon Viveur - the whole experience was superb. The staff were spot on and Fabrizio went the extra mile remembering everyone's name which is no mean feat as far as I'm concerned. Room was good with a lovely view over St Aubin's harbour. Bed very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Already booked to come back in October !! :)
