This hotel is fantastic. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are keep extremely clean and serviced each day. It is worth paying extra for a sea view room which has a balcony, table and chairs. The food is excellent- well cooked and large portions. This hotel also has a swimming pool surrounded by a garden area. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and is so easy and cheap to go to St Helier, Gorey etc. Will definitely return here next time we come to Jersey.

As locals we took advantage of the Tennerfest overnight stay deal, which was fantastic value.
The staff are very friendly & attentive, the room was lovely, perfectly functional. The only critiscm is that the guest lounge & the bedrooms are very old fashioned and could really do with modernisation.
This hotel is so convenient with the next nearest hotels probably 10 minutes in either direction, the food is delicious & it has a lovely pool & the beach accross the road that with a bit of an upgrade this could be very popular with young families & couples wanting a relaxing break. Owners - Give it a bit of TLC & you will reap the rewards....

The Pontac House Hotel was a very thing to find top floor overlooking St Clements Bay wonderful view has it's own Bar good price for a Hotel.
We stayed 10 nights Breakfast was very good Glutten free is catered for friendly staff had one evening meal which was very good because we had gone to Jersey to eat out to see what's on offer.
The Hotel is family owned and run which makes it more personal.
We thoroughly recommend this Hotel.

This really was the perfect place to stay, provided of course that you don't want to be in the middle of St Hellier ! The owner and staff were really kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and we opted to have dinner there on three of our four nights. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced when compared with other restaurants and pubs in the area. I was surprised at one of the comments about the lack of menu prices as it was all clearly laid out in the book in our room. Having the bus stop right outside the hotel was a real bonus and we didn't feel the need to hire a car. I would recommend taking a room with a sera view - well worth the extra

We live in grouville but had never been to this hotel. We saw it had reopened after being closed during the covid pandemic and thought we would go for a meal with some friends. We had a wonderful evening. From the greeting at reception to the friendly bar staff the beautifully maintained bar and restaurant and extensive menu. The food was delicious. Between us we had fabulous prawn and smoked salmon starter an equally delicious salt and pepper squid with sweet chili sauce. Another person had the deep fried Brie. Mains we struggled to choose there is a great choice. Hubby had sea bass I had steak au poivre another guest had a chicken Saltimboca ( not sure how to spell) from memory there was also salmon, pork, duck, chicken Espetada. The food arrived with plenty of choice of fresh veg and the staff were very friendly and attentive without being in your face. We opted for a bus home after treating ourselves to a bottle of red. We will definitely be going back and I would highly recommend a night out here.

Pontac House sits by the sea east of St Hellier. The majority of rooms have a sea view and they are spotlessly clean. There is a warm welcome on arrival and the rooms are large and comfortable although starting to look a little dated. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed half board and the food is plentiful and a good choice everyday. The dining room team are engaging and get to know you over your stay and are very entertaining. The outdoor pool whilst small is great on a hot day but swimming in the sea is accessed by the slipway opposite the hotel.
I will definitely stay here again

Really well run hotel, wonderful location, very helpful staff, spotlessly clean, great food, what more could you want? Restaurant staff always pleasant and nothing too much trouble, very good menu offerings and reasonably priced wines. Good sized car park always a bonus on Jersey. Will return next year if possible.

We stayed here for a week and had a room facing the garden and pool which was spotless.

The staff are all very friendly, helpful and accommodating and go over and above to make your stay the best. I asked for extra milk for the room and it was no problem.

We ate there once and it was excellent, again served by the very attentive staff.

The hotel has a bus stop right outside so is great for exploring the island. We bought a weekly pass for £35 with unlimited travel, as the standard charges are £2.25 per journey if paying by card or £2.70 cash.

Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

From the moment we walked through the door at the Pontac we had first class service. The lady on reception checked us in and asked if we would like dinner in the restaurant. She then showed us to the room. This was a beautiful room on the ground floor opposite the beach with a balcony with table and chairs. The room was cleaned every day. Drinks and towels replaced every day. We had dinner in the hotel twice. 5 course meal with lots to choose from. The menu changed every day. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. The Pontac is a 3 Star hotel with 5 star service. The waiter and waitresses were really friendly and we got to know them well throughout the week. The 4 of them could not do enough for us. As we are leaving before breakfast to catch the ferry a breakfast tray is being provided. The Pinto family should be very proud of their hotel.

Hi Emma I live in Jersey and went to the Pontac for a meal with friends. However, as President of the local gardening club we use Pontac House Hotel for visiting speakers, from time to time. I know all hotel accomodation now has en-suite and we've typically booked a downstairs bedroom with garden view. Give them a call on 01534 857771 and speak to one of the Pinto family who run the hotel to answer in more detail. They are on a good bus route to town - every 20 minutes, and on the coast too - lovely views.
