We had a pleasant stay. We had a family room which is was perfect. Yes, internally it is a bit dated but it was spotless. As you enter the room is a large king sized bed with plenty of space to walk around. Bed was a bit firm for our liking and the pillows could have been better. There is a small table and 2 chairs, desk and a large TV on the wall. A huge benefit is that there is a small fridge. There are tea and coffee making facilities with ample supplies, water and a hairdryer. Through a little alcove is a large wardrobe and door through to the bathroom. The advantage of a family room is just off the main bedroom is a second bedroom with twin beds, chest of drawers, wardrobe and another TV on the wall. Great space all round and perfect for our family. Breakfast was ok. Enough choice with cooked food, continental options, toast, breads, pastries, coffee and juice staff were attentive. We ate in the restaurant one evening and were very pleasantly surprised with what we had. Food was really good. Drinks at the bar were the usual. Again, staff attentive. Unfortunately, our stay was during a huge gas outage across the island. This meant we had no hot water for 2 of our 3 nights. Difficult but outwith the control of the hotel. Parking was handy. We booked direct with the hotel so no extra cost.

Lovely clean hotel with spacious rooms. First night however I discovered my room was over possibly the plant room as there was a loud humming on and off every few minutes like a boiler firing up. I never got a wink that night so spoke with reception as soon as possible the next morning. I was told the hotel was fully booked but after some shuffling they managed to move me to another room. I was told there was a large party that evening and for half an hour I was again kept awake by very loud live music but I knew there would be an end to this. After 11pm it was finished and slept really well. The beds are quite firm but ok. Breakfast was a bit like a canteen but had everything you could want. Was given gluten free muesli and gluten free toast which was good. I would say avoid room 26 at all costs. The receptionist (Michaela) went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and I was so gray for all she did to sort my sleep problem out. Hotel management should feel very lucky to have this lady representing them.

Very warm welcome by friendly staff, and it continued throughout our stay. Experienced evening meal which was very nice, with a good choice selection, all served whilst listening in the background ,to a talented 3 piece band. The breakfast was plentiful and very adequate , to set you up for the day’s activities. The hotels main asset, with out doubt , is its staff. A definite recommend.

We booked a classic double room, which was rather small although it had a good size balcony, but this is only of value if you have good weather. There is no aircon so we had to leave the window open and as were at the front of the hotel, this was rather noisy. However the room was very clean, comfortable and had tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was a good size, brightly lit which helps when putting in contact lenses. The bath had an overhead shower and there was a good flow of water. Breakfast is free and generally good, I would have liked more fresh fruit and French breads but it had everything you would expect. The staff were attentive and quick to clear dirty plates. The reception is rather tucked away which reduces contact when returning to the hotel. The hotel is on a rather busy road and is a 15 minute walk into the centre and most restaurants. Overall a pleasant stay.

Good value hotel, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Breakfast a decent selection of hot, cold and good coffee. More of a variety in cake, pastries and fruit would have been good as someone who doesn’t eat hot breakfast but plentiful and fresh. Staff pleasant (especially lovely bar man). Sight issue when hair dryer started smoking and I noticed PAT testing 18 months out of date which no one at reception seemed too bothered about (albeit they did replace so maybe a language issue). Useful to have car park and would stay again.

Liked · The breakfast was excellent, no complaints there, plenty of choice and staff very helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard and the location is excellent for a short walk into the nearby centre of ST Helier Disliked · The room (37)was at the front of the hotel and due to the heat during the week we needed the windows open(no air conditioning, not that i expected that TBH) but the road was very noisy up until 1am, so sleep wasnt great, also some wallpaper was peeling, which didnt cause a major issue but was surprised that this hadnt been addressed given the standard of the hotel . Additionally it stated that water would be replenished each day in the rooms(2 small bottles on arrival in the room fridge) this did not happen for us , but did for my brother and his partner who were also staying at the Savoy, although we did ask daily if this could be facilitated. Finally the biggest gripe is paying for the car parking for a week, it states this is free, but if you dont book direct then you get charged, which negates any saving booking with booking.com!!!, not sure why this isnt highlighted by both parties

Clean hotel. Great breakfast and the bottles of water and tea and coffee are very welcome in the evening. We came for my 40th birthday, unbeknownst to me my husband emailed to say we were celebrating. No extras could be included but he thought perhaps a wee birthday message or something would have been a nice touch. First trip to jersey really enjoyed it.

Fantastic hotel, from the minute you open the door to when you leave the staff cannot do enough for you, the whole place smells like a spa, we arrived 2 hours early purely to leave our case and were advised our room was ready, ordered room service which arrived in under 5 mins. Would definitely recommend this hotel

My partner and I were booked into this hotel from the 38th of August until the 1st of September. It was a special birthday for me and we’d also never been to Jersey so we were really forward to it. Unfortunately, through no fault of our own, we were involved in the NATS technical outage and our flight was completely cancelled. We then contacted the hotel and asked if there was any consideration for a part refund or movement of dates. The person my partner spoke to was incredibly rude and said basically ‘it’s too bad if you don’t turn up and took full payment immediately afterwards. He then said even if we moved it there would be a significant charge for this request and no guarantee of success. Overall we are disgusted at the lack of empathy to our plight and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
