I stayed 4 nights in a twin room, the room was clean, spacious and modern. My room was on the top floor with beautiful views of St Helier. The wifi was fast. The hotel had a lounge and garden.

The hotel was run by a couple who were incredibly kind and helpful and made my stay comfortable.

My stay included breakfast, there was a choice of cooked full English which was tasty and the usual cold food selections.

The hotel was in a good location 15min walk from the main bus terminal and 10 min walk into the centre of St Helier.

The hotel was quiet at night, I didn’t hear any noise from other guests.

I would highly recommend staying here.

I have travelled a lot with work over the years and this hotel beats a lot of the 4-5 star hotels. It isn’t just clean it is SPOTLESS! The contemporary rooms are comfortable with quality beds so a good night’s sleep is guaranteed. Rooms contain the perfect mini bar which unlike many hotels the items are at regular retail prices. The lounge and garden are comfortable. The breakfast was superb and plentiful if you wanted to fill up before going out for the day. Though this isn't recommended as there are some fabulous places to eat on the island The location of the hotel is on the outskirts with a short walk into town. Taxis and buses are plentiful, so its location wasn't ’an issue with wonderful panoramic views.
We will return!

Myself and my partner have just returned from a lovely 4 day stay in Jersey, staying at the Almorah Hotel, St Helier.

Firstly, personally I don't feel 2 stars is enough for this lovely, small, friendly accommodation.
The room we stayed in was a Superior Double Room which was on the top floor and gave stunning views across the whole of St Helier and out to the sea. Everything was spotlessly clean, modern and fresh and we were delighted to have replenished drinks daily in our fridge (chargeable, but for such a fair and pretty low price!)

The breakfast was a cold continental buffet style from cheeses, pastries, yoghurt etc, and you could also then have a freshly cooked full English breakfast that was piping hot and served with a smile.

This leads us onto the staff at the Almorah Hotel. What can we say other than they were so welcoming and friendly. The two ladies who worked at breakfast were extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I even asked if they had any marmite....the next day a little pot of marmite was already on our table before we came down....it really is the small things that make the best impressions sometimes!

So, if you are after a friendly, clean and very affordable hotel where nothing seems to be too much trouble, don't think twice about giving this hotel a go. 10 out of 10.

To the staff at Almorah, thank you so much. We will definitely be back!!

Mark and Paul :)

Carlos and Silvie are welcoming and helpful hosts - nothing was too much trouble. We loved the Almorah - it's a lovely building with an attractive and well maintained garden at the front of the property with views over St Helier - a perfect spot for a glass of wine from the 'honesty' fridge in the lounge.
The bedrooms were well appointed, light, airy and sparkling clean with fresh towels provided daily. There is also a mini bar fridge in the room as well as tea/coffee making facilities.
Breakfast is a selection of fruit, cereal and pastries plus a cooked option.
It's a 20 minute walk down to hill to the centre of town but we enjoyed the walk plus it is well served by buses and taxis.

What a lovely hotel. it is a 15minute walk from the centre of St Hellier but is well worth it.
Our room was on the top floor, but we had great views over the town.
The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious with a nice bathroom.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
A great breakfast is served with a good choice of cereals, fruits and yoghurts followed by a tasty, cooked breakfast.

My husband & I booked the Almorah Hotel from reviews that previous guests had added. I must say the hotel did not disappoint . Comfortable , clean with an excellent bathroom. This hotel is B&B and the breakfast was excellent . Choice of fruit juices , cereals , fruit salad & cooked breakfast . Lovely ! The hosts Carlos & Silvina , make you feel so welcome and they make sure they look after you during your stay . Nothing is too much trouble . This hotel does not have a lift and is over 4 floors . If you have mobility problems they have a ground floor room and a few rooms on the 1st floor which you can request . This hotel is immaculate and we enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked our stay at the Almorah for next year . With much thanks to our hosts for making our stay so very memorable .

Having just returned once again from 14 nights at the beautiful Almorah Hotel, we can only repeat what we have said in our earlier Almorah Hotel reviews.
Carlos and Silvina are the perfect hosts, who always - with their staff - go out of their way to make your stay absolutely wonderful.
The rooms are beautifully decorated, and are always spotlessly clean. The front facing rooms have a lovely panoramic view over St. Helier and beyond.
The decor of the hotel is perfect, and has a relaxing atmosphere throughout, with a lovely lounge, and a beautifully kept terrace garden at the front, ideal for relaxing at any time of the day.
Breakfast offers a wide choice to suit all, from "full English" to continental and more, in a lovely, spacious dining room.
We really can't recommend the Almorah Hotel highly enough. We have stayed numerous times here, and the standards have always been excellent.
Thank you once again, Carlos and Silvina, and we are so looking forward to visiting Jersey and staying with you again this September.

I can honestly say that this was the best hotel we have stayed in! The walk up the hill was tiring and they don't have a lift or provide evening meals BUT that didn't seem to matter as everything else was excellent! The decor, the cleanliness, the staff all made our nearly two week holiday one to remember. The beds were comfy too which is a great help when you have spent the day exploring Jersey. Breakfast was very good with a choice of cereal, juices, fruit to start followed by either a continental breakfast or full English. Even then you could have a variation if you didn't want everything. We can't wait to go back in a few years!

Stayed here for 5 nights in room 5 which is a large 1st floor room with balcony at the front of the hotel with a view over st helier and the sea (albeit in the distance). Very well run hotel kept very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only stayed b&b but food very good too. About 10 min walk into town ( downhill going, uphill coming back). Limited parking directly outside hotel. Would definitely recommend staying as a base to explore the island
