Room was spacious and beds comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with many choices ranging from traditional to smoked salmon, eggs Benedict and fish. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in Victoria’s restaurant one evening and the food was delicious. The spa and pool area was excellent. Located on the seafront and a short walk into town with bus stops nearby. Highly recommend.

There is really nothing bad to say about our stay at the Grand. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing and the room was lovely with a great sea view. Although there was a busy road outside, the double glazing shut all noise out. Plenty of USB ports; tea, coffee and hot chocolate (with real fresh milk) plus bottled water all included, and fragrant bathroom necessities. The bed was comfortable and the lighting good. We didn’t have any spa treatments but we used the pool and the hot tub (the sauna and steam room were not our thing) - again, the staff were helpful and welcoming, and there were robes and slippers in the room although also large changing and locker facilities (and swimsuit drying machines - never seen those before!) The hotel is perfectly located for St Helier with plenty of great restaurants in easy walking distance, and directly opposite Elizabeth Castle which was a brilliant day out. Many thanks to Paul, Freya and Luke on reception, Stan, Elise, Ricky, Betsy and all the breakfast staff, all the housekeeping staff and everyone else who made our holiday so pleasant!

This was a last minute break which was also a bit of a bargain find. The hotel was lovely, rooms fantastic location ideal for exploring and so near to bus and ferry station so no car needed. Also its so cheap to travel on the buses and you get to see so much. We stayed bed and breakfast and wow breakfast was definitely 5 star! The choice was amazing and there was also a menu to choose from . I actually kept having to pinch myself on getting such a bargain. Yes it was out of season so some attractions were still not open but we still found plenty to do and the day the weather wasn't great we stayed on site and used the pool and spa facilities which was included in the price ( spa treatment obviously extra) there was even a cinema you could book to watch a movie which I thought was a great idea if you had gone in a group (free popcorn included!) Every area of the hotel we came across was spotless and the staff were all lovely and friendly' However I have to give the employee that shone over everyone else because he went above and beyond and was always so kind and helpful with a huge smile and i feel he deserves a special mention as he made our 4 day stay a whole experience so huge thank you to Alvis for the tour, the information and the happy smile every day. So i would highly recommend this hotel if you plan a trip to jersey.

If a certain beer brand did online reviews... Thank you so much for your contribution! I am absolutely overjoyed that you had such a wonderful experience with us. It is great to know that you were able to explore the island by using the fantastic bus services we have here in Jersey. I am delighted that you were able to take full advantage of our facilities in the hotel and that you really enjoyed our Breakfast offerings, the perfect way to start a day! Your incredibly kind words about Alvis on the Front Desk will be forwarded on to him, I know for a fact he will be over the moon to read what you had to say about him. It will certainly make him smile again! Thank you once again, and I hope we have the pleasure of welcoming you back for another memorable experience. Lovely 4 nights spent at this hotel with family including 2 children. Room was just right, lots of space and lovely view of the beach. Kept very clean. Breakfast had a great selection, swimming pool was perfect size and not too busy. All staff helpful and welcoming. Only slight issue to be aware of...as it is an older hotel the walls/floors are quite thin and could hear noise from other rooms and traffic.

Where to begin? This place is wonderful and the staff cannot do enough for you. We stayed for 3 nights with our 7 year old son. We had a super king bed and our son had a double sofa bed, both very comfortable. Everywhere is spotless and they provide lovely fluffy towels. Although the bathroom is a bit of a squeeze the shower is powerful and you’re provided with shower gel/shampoo/conditioner. In the room is a coffee machine, kettle, bottled water (still and sparkling), biscuits, fresh milk and a fridge. All of which is regularly replenished. There is even a ‘turn down’ service in the evening. Our son was given milk and cookies each night too. Breakfast was delicious with a vast choice of fruit, cereal, pastries, breads, free from, hot buffet, juices, smoothies, tea, coffee as well as a menu to order from if you want. The building and location is brilliant but it really is the staff that make the hotel - special mentions to Paul, Thomas, Luke, Stan to name a few! Spa - we didn’t book any treatments but we used the pool in the given family time slots and there is also a jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms. Towels are provided and there are showers (with toiletries), hair dryers and free lockers. Location - short walk from the centre of St Helier and bus stops are a minute walk on each side of the road. Would recommend downloading the Liberty Bus app. Every trip is £2.25 single (half for children) on the island but day/multiple day passes are available too. All very easy to follow.

Dear Imogen Thank you so much for your 5 bubble review! It has been a real joy to read about your experience with us, I am absolutely delighted that you had a wonderful time with us. It is truly warming that you were all well looked after by the Grand Jersey Hotel team. Im glad that you found the beds comfortable, and you found everything that you needed in the room. Im very glad that your son enjoyed the complimentary Cookies and Cream service that we offer to all of our younger guests. Our breakfast service is our most complimented area and I am very happy that you enjoyed our tasty and vast selection that we have to offer. I am glad that you enjoyed the aesthetics and charm of our 136 year old building. Our Spa facilities also come well recommended and I am glad you got to spend a lot of time in there with our dedicated children's swim times. It is great that you were able to explore the wonderful and beautiful island of Jersey, helped by our central locations with most of the Island's busses passing by right outside our hotel. On a personal note, it was great to meet you all. I will certainly be passing your feedback to Paul, Thomas and Stan - I know that they will be delighted to read your kind words. I handed you my card on the day of your departure, I do hope that you make contact with me if you decide to visit us again in the future, and I hope to hear from you in due course. I hope that your flight back was not to bumpy in the wind that we had the other day. Kind regards, and best wishes Luke Eastaff - Guest Relations Manager

So glad we chose this hotel for our three day break , we loved Jersey and will return again . Everything was so perfect we could never stay anywhere else . Highlights were so many :- the wonderful welcome by reception , the housekeeping was fantastic and loved the turn down service, breakfast and lunch both exceeded expectations in terms of food quality and service . Every single team member we encountered was friendly , professional and genuinely seemed to be happy in their job. The spa was lovely and we liked that there were set times for children to use the pool as that enabled us to go when it was quieter . Faultless and if I could give it 6 stars I would .

I had been given vouchers for birthday/mother’s day and decided to use them for a massage which I felt I really needed. From the minute I arrived the whole experience was amazing. The receptionist was so helpful and kind and my treatment with Gigi was out of this world ! I felt so relaxed and like a ‘ new person’ after it. The whole ambiance of the spa is lovely. The pool area is dimmed and relaxing and the relaxation room was absolutely great. I cannot recommend this spa enough. Thank you to all the team.
