Overall a very good hotel, rooms good, the staff and facilities are all excellent. However I feel it’s let down by one small thing, the inappropriate awful loud music played the Bohemian bar. We considered having a drink there but walked straight out again when we heard the noisy modern music , ridiculous when people are trying to have a conversation or a nice afternoon tea🤬. Do the staff look at the age of the guests or customers? I doubt it, such a shame. Otherwise it ticks all the boxes but we won’t return.

Hotel's Favourite
The hotel is situated in a great location within easy reach of the town and the harbour. The rooms were great with very comfortable beds and a very powerful shower. Breakfast was extensive with a good continental range and freshly cooked hot food to order. The outdoor pool was a tranquil setting and a pleasurable area to relax after a day out exploring the island. The indoor spa facilities were also excellent. We ate in both the bar and the main Michelin star restaurant and the food was sublime.

A weekend stay for Mother’s Day. Teta at reception was brilliant! So very helpful with great customer service. She made our stay very enjoyable. The suite we had was very spacious and clean. Really enjoyed it. Got very chilly at times, so had the heater on. Bathroom a bit dated, but spacious. Spa area was a little dated/old too and a bit dirty in parts - Wouldn’t say the spa was 4 star quality. The breakfast was delicious! It was a very pleasant stay and we would stay at this hotel again.

The worst spa experience I’ve ever had. I was attending the spa with my mum as I’d flown to jersey to see her after not seeing her in a few months. No one showed us around the facilities so we actually didn’t use half of the spa because we didn’t know about this. We both had treatments, my mum the facial which she was initially happy with. I had the body exfoliation and wrap. I’ve had this before at another spa in jersey and it was the best treatment I’d ever had. I was expecting the same. Instead it was one of the most stressful experiences I’ve ever had in a spa. I was first exfoliated with salt scrub which has made skin red and very dry. I was then asked to shower and rinse this off. I noticed the shower was filthy as in mould on the grout. As I was showering I noticed the water wasn’t draining so I was standing in a pool of dirty water which isnt the most hygienic. When I tried to leave the shower I couldn’t as the door had become jammed. I’m not great when locked in small spaces so began to panic. I was shouting for the lady and banging the door. After 6 or 7 mins she came to help and struggled herself to get the door open. She said “oh sorry this is the broken shower” why put me in here if it’s broke? There was another shower facing this one. Once I had dried myself I was then asked to lie down so the mud wrap could be applied. For my back usually I am wrapped up and asked to turn to lie on my stomach. This wasn’t the case instead I was told to sit on the edge of the bed (yes this is supposed to be relaxing?!!!!??) I was so confused. Whilst the wrap was doing its thing I had a mini facial. I was asked if I wanted a massage or face mask and I was thinking for a couple of mins about this and was told “hurry up we only have 25mins” again not the best way to encourage relaxation. I had the facial which took all of 10 mins I had stated on the booking form I would like some info on products. The lady stayed silent. The whole thing was so awkward. Then I was asked to rinse off the mud wrap. Now the lady chose the same shower that locked me in (surprising) and when I went to the shower it was still full of the old water from before. I tried to tell her about this but couldn’t find her as she’d left the room. Instead I was left to shower in the dirty water. I have attached a photo of the pool of water I had to stand in. Finally when we had finished in the spa we went to shower and realised in the whole of the women’s changing rooms there’s 1 shower which again was full of mould and residue on the shower head. When it came to drying our hair (it was a cold and windy day and my mum is 50+) the hair dryers were cheap and rubbish. They cut out every 30 seconds due to over heating it was ridiculous. I’ve never been to a spa where there are such cheap hair dryers. We had to leave the spa with wet hair which overall topped off the whole idea of being relaxed. I think I would’ve been more relaxed in the middle of a herd of elephants. I spoke to one of the managers who gave me 25% off my booked £200 bill and was told I would get a call in the next couple of days. Well it’s nearly a week later and I’m still waiting in that call. For £200 in the UK I could’ve had a much nicer experience.

I booked one of the Studio Rooms because of the large size and a super king size bed. During the evening we noticed that the air-conditioning didnt work in our room didnt work and as a result the bathroom fogged up when taking a shower. The management had put a portable electric heater in the room presumably to compensate for the A/C. there was no plug in the bath and when we went to reception the lady didnt know what we were talking about. Eventually someone found one, but the bath water was not very warm. We decided to have dinner in the bar, but left after 10 minutes because the music was very loud, so much so that we could not hear each other speak. Breakfast was the only redeeming feature

The Staff are friendly and very helpful. Our room with en-suite was clean. Plenty of storage space complete with plenty of beverages. The Fridge and adjoining cupboard were filled with a variety of alcohol which being non drinkers we did not use. The Spa is amazing, so calming in a warm pool with a Jacuzzi at one end. We didn’t use the sauna due to being asthmatic so used the amazing salt room instead. There is an amazing experience shower which is lovely. Everything is clean. We did not eat at The Bohemian Restaurant as we were in Jersey to meet and spend time with close family breakfast menu covers everything and cooked, to a high standard. It was our first time visiting The Club Hotel & Spa and we will definitely recommend staying with them and visit ourselves again.

Lovely hotel. But want to say a big thank you to Cara at the reception who was extremely good. She was so welcoming, hospitable and helpful. She gave us valuable information about Jersey and was so knowledgeable and friendly. Makes all the difference when you have people like her at the front desk. Brilliant.

A lovely 2 night stay, great location between the town centre and the seafront and all the staff were lovely! I wouldn’t say it’s a 5 star hotel but more a lovely 4*. The pool was lovely and great to have in the hotel and the breakfast was lovely too. The staff a very friendly and super polite and happy to help. The room was very comfortable, the bed was huge and the chaise longue was a wonderful additional seating spot. The shower was great and the Elemis toiletries too! We did have a few negatives that hopefully could be easily avoided in the future. 1. The automatic doors didn’t work one evening so we got stuck outside. We rang the bell which doesn’t seem to work. Thankfully people were exiting so we were only waiting 3-4 mins in the rain/cold. Perhaps the door bell could be fixed? 2. We had dinner in Bohemia which was DELICIOUS but surprisingly there was a misspelling on the menu - easily fixed with a proof read and reprint. 3. My biggest concern, I ordered an alcohol free cocktail (mocktail) and was very clear it was a mocktail, when I checked when it arrived at the table, I was very glad I did because it was alcoholic! There was also multiple spelling mistakes on the drinks menu - easily fixed but also easily avoided and not expected in such a nice place. Overall would recommend if you fancy a bit of a relaxing weekend away with some very good food and drink!
