Enjoying our staycation this year and trying to get about more local places and restaurants. One of our party was running late so we called to ask if we could delay by a half hour, they were super helpful and said no worries, we'd also asked to change to the bar and they said that would be fine but it was space dependent. As it turned out the bar was full but that was no big deal, the restaurant is nice enough, but perhaps a little dated. It wasnt the easiest to get service, and while the waiters were all pleasant, sometimes it was as if we were asking for the world. We had espatadas all round, which were all delicious and cooked to perfection, but value was not as good as some other local options. It was lovely night out all the same and would recommend to anyone looking for something Gorey way.…

Visit to Jersey during Covid-19. Approrpiate safety procedures were in place. The food was absolutely faultless as was the service. Will definitely return on our next trip to the island. Cannot recommend this enough!

As tourists we were not sure where to go for lunch in Gorey. Fortunately we chose the Dolphin Hotel. It was a very busy Saturday but the young waiter provided us with excellent service and advice. We chose very different meals from the extensive menu and were not disappointed. Very good food for a very reasonable price.

We visited the Dolphin restaurant last night to sample their 'Tennerfest'. The restaurant was really busy and had a nice buzz. Service was very good and efficient. I started with the Scallops and Chorizo which was first class whilst my wife went for the Avocado and Prawns and enjoyed it very much. We both opted for the Calves Liver and again, it was very good indeed being a generous portion accompanied by a tasty jus and mashed potatoes. The wine flowed and we all had a good time, I would happily repeat the experience, both in the main restaurant and also in their less formal Bistro, just off the main bar.
