This hotel completely surpassed expectations. Of all the 5 star hotels we’ve experienced I would definitely put this toward the top. Service is not only impeccable but appropriately civilised, something many hotels don’t get right. In the UAE for example the service has been first class but, on occasions, over friendly in a way that is uncomfortable especially for children.

The food (and food choice) is perfect in every way. Breakfast is a wonderful experience with the most delicious, fresh offerings. Even on the day of departure when we needed room service at 7am, our breakfast was delivered with care and attention. Dinner was a culinary treat (on my birthday!), we ate filet of beef cooked to perfection and enjoyed a bottle of Malbec. The waiting staff are superb and get the right balance of attentive and available without being a nuisance. This includes the bar staff (especially the very lovely Portuguese man who ran that bar with ease and style).

The rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and the bed and pillows exceptionally comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent including turn down.

In summary I would say this hotel has really got it all right (I actually don’t think I’ve ever said that in a review before!). The management care and it shows. This is carried through all staff who work very hard to make your stay enjoyable and stress free.

I would recommend wholeheartedly and will most definitely return.

We booked for two nights and had an amazing experience. We stayed in a beautiful suite called the Tower Suite which was spectacular and comprised three separate rooms. All three were spacious, comfortable and luxurious but the bathroom in particular was out of this world. Huge walk-in shower, his and her sinks and a bath big enough for two. If that wasn’t enough there was even a TV.

The food we had in the restaurant was stunning and the staff, as always, were helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Breakfast was beautifully cooked to order and as healthy (or unhealthy) as you wish. We also had afternoon tea served in the room which was delicious.

The whole stay was simply flawless and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. If you are looking for a place in which to unwind, escape and luxuriate we could not recommend Longueville Manor more.

We were so pleased to return to this wonderful hotel after the long lockdown. After so many visits here it felt like coming home. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and my husband’s birthday, and would not think of staying anywhere else. There’s always a warm welcome, and we were given a stunning room overlooking the garden and pool, which was very much appreciated. On a sunny day, lunch or afternoon tea by the pool is highly recommended, followed by a stroll in the gardens. Dinner is always a delight, as is the breakfast. Longueville Manor has a great deal to recommend it, but one of it’s greatest assets must be its staff. They are unfailingly attentive, helpful and friendly and it is always a pleasure to see them all every time we visit.

We booked the Longueville Manor for our 10 day honeymoon. The hotel itself, the grounds and the location are all truly outstanding. The staff really excel in service, friendliness and professionalism. This includes all areas namely the reception, bar, dining area, and even the gardeners and maintenance teams all have time for you.
The food for all meals was excellent both in taste and presentation. The ambience of the resturant is warm and relaxing whilst retaining a formal dining atmosphere. The staff again enhance the experience. All the public areas are relaxing, well furnished and clean.
The only issue we had was with the suite itself. The settee and armchair were really dirty and stained so much that we did not sit on them without placing the bathrobes over them as throws. The doors to the bathroom were also grubby although the bathroom itself was very clean. It was a shame because to have a room of this standard it was our intention to properly relax.
We also had to keep asking for tea, milk and water for the room . On arrival there was a small bowl of fruit, 4 Amaretti biscuits and a bottle of red wine. This was all we were given for 10 nights in possibly the top suite of the hotel.
When we mentioned thearlier cleanliness of the furniture to the manager at the end of our stay it was acted upon immediately and the furniture removed. This would only benefit the next guests. Why didnt this get noticed? We were given a discount on our bill which was just 5% of the total amount.
I have completed the hotel questionnaire but received no further acknowledgement from the management.

This a very good hotel whose strengths are the pleasant and very efficient staff and the food. Lots of the staff have been with the property for many years and their professionalism shines through. The surrounding area is an uninspiring suburb of St. Helier, but the gardens behind the hotel are lovely and a visit to the kitchen garden is well worth doing (we had a good chat with the head gardener). If you don't have your own car you will need to take taxis to get around as the bus service is not that frequent.
The food was really excellent with a very wide choice at breakfast and it was freshly cooked. Lunch by the pool was good (recommend the chips) but the two dinners we had in the restaurant were exceptional.
We were unlucky with the weather so could not use the outdoor pool as much as we would have liked but there are nice bar areas (though they could get busy at lunchtime and in the evening with non-residents). Massages at the spa were very good.
On the negative side, one of our rooms was disappointing. The Royal Highness Suite was not a suite - but rather a largeish, nice enough room in the eaves with a number of issues (poor water pressure, design.....) and poor value for the price.
Overall great food and great staff but choose your room with care.

We booked this hotel directly as last minute getaway a mix of pleasure and business and it has been one of the most enjoyable and memorable experience that I have ever had in any hotels. To be truly honest to classify this amazing property as a hotel does not to justice. From the moment we arrived we just felt at home I can honesty say that every member of staff we encountered made us feel special.

Even when we asked to change room on the first day, not because there was anything wrong with the room but just because we wanted a different view they were super accommodating, attentive and caring.

What made the difference was not the super spacious room, the pool or the beatiful wine cellar but the team that looked after us.

We had every meals in the hotel and generally we never do as I like to explore the local seen, but in this case there was no need. The food was amazing from the breakfast to the al fresco lunch or the A la Carte menu. We could not write this review without mentioning the team members by name, Luca, Sara and Marzena made our stay truly memorable.

I have been working in the hospitality sector for 40 years now and this has been the best stay in term of customer service that I have ever experienced.

I understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has affected every business and every one has to adapt but the only suggestion I would make is let the guest leave gratuity in cash for the staff they truly deserve it. There are ways to handle if there is will there is away the staff in the hospital industry have already been penalised enough.

We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

Our several stays at Longueville Manor have always been characterised by beautiful food, cozy elegant rooms and all delivered by highly attentive staff. The setting is pure tranquility and drinks by the log fire before dinner sets off the evening. We are great fans of Jersey food and Longueville is at the very top of this high quality list. Just go there!

We enjoyed an overnight stay for two in a Deluxe Double Room, inclusive of a delicious three course ‘A la carte’ dinner and full English breakfast in the morning. Also to our surprise we found a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us!
Enjoying the 5 * customer care that the staff give you that makes one feel so special! The food too was amazing with such attention to detail with every course!
Our thanks to all the staff but will mention Majena and her team!

A wonderful week in September 2021, our first holiday in two years of lockdown along with our elder daughter. The hotel is perfect with excellent large rooms and attentive but not intrusive staff. The hotel dining room is well spaced and has a good menu although Covid has placed some limits on the range of food. My daughter and wife use the spa and my daughter enjoyed the swimming pool all week. The afternoon tea which was provided out of normal hours was absolutely delicious. This is our fourth visit to the hotel but will not be the last.
Jersey Shopmobility provided disability aids which were installed in our bedroom for my wife to use which made the stay even more delightful.

We have just returned from our umpteenth stay in 61 years at the Longueville Manor. As always, everything was outstanding; from the accommodation to the food, the service and the staff - especially the staff. We were in the very luxurious and stylish Longueville suite, with its vast bedroom and sitting room, along with a huge bathroom. It is easily the best bedroom in the hotel - and we've tried most of them. Everywhere in the hotel it is clear that huge attention has been paid to detail, with everything, from linen and towels to table mats, china, cutlery and glassware all of the best quality. The staff remember guests names, and it is rare that they ask you for your room number. The whole place runs like a well-oiled machine and we can't wait to go back.

I'm not sure re 24 hour check in...probably as there is a night porter....just call and check? The hotel does offer a late check out if they don't need the room. Really helpful staff!

Hi, Margaret252. What would you like to know about this accommodation? Is there a hairdryer provided in the bedroom?
Answer from Ice B
Manchester, United Kingdom12 contributions3 helpful votes
Hello Margaret, yes there is a hairdryer in the room. This hotel in my opinion provides almost anything you might need. From wellingtons and umbrellas near the door (hopefully not needed) even to one evening someone forgot their reading glasses when dining and found it difficult to select from the menu and guess what.. a selection of reading glasses was offered for use during the meal... above and beyond. Nothing is too much for the staff. Enjoy..
