We were a group of 3 ladies who stayed for a week, using the cottage as a base for walking the coast of Guernsey. It was perfectly located for coastal walking from the door, and close to a bus stop when returning at the end of the day. As other reviewers mentioned as this is close to the airport, the planes do fly quite low outside and it can be noisy (although inside with the windows closed they can't be heard). Having walked the whole coast of Guernsey there would be areas not on a flight path (if that bothered you). We booked a 2 bed superior, but not sure this was worth the extra paid (we did have to ask about some of the extras which weren't available on arrival) and we didn't really notice much difference following the mid week clean (e.g. recycling not taken). The twin bedroom was possibly aimed at children as there was no mirror near a power point for the hairdryer, or for makeup etc. We didn't use the barbecue as it didn't make sense to buy a large bag of coals for 1 meal, and it was a large area to clean afterwards. in the end we bought a disposal barbecue. the outside space although large unfortunately doesn't really get much sun in the evening (Garden Cottage). Otherwise plenty of pots and pans in the kitchen and a nice welcome pack of local produce. Also easy bus ride from the airport. Fiona really helpful and accommodating, providing a hand towel for the bathroom on request and extra tea towels. Nice to have a washing machine. A bit awkward to extend the hot water as it was on a timer and you had to move a panel under the boiler in the kitchen to access this. Would return but probably not to a superior cottage.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage and could not have been happier. Everything you need is in the cottage as well as a fully stocked library full of books and DVDs for those wet "summer days" The hosts are amazing, communicate very well and left us a lovely welcome pack for our arrival. We would definately return

Fiona was an amazing host, we arrived early and she let us leave our luggage and recommended a gorgeous cafe nearby to relax and enjoy the start of our holiday. The cottage was very clean with everything you need to make you feel like your home. (Only suggestion would be to have a full length mirror). There is a guest book on arrival with lots of information on beaches and various other places of interest. The library had lots of DVDs, books etc for a relaxed evening after a day exploring Guersney. A week flew by and I really wished I had booked longer. The midweek towel change and spruce up was a lovely touch... (I left breakfast washing up that morning, as we had to rush out for an early morning pre booked activity and have to say ... walking back into the cottage after a long day to see the washing up done was a beautiful sight!... thank you so much house keeper.) Honestly we loved this place and would highly recommend it. Thank you for making our first time to Guernsey a beautiful memory. We can't wait to come back.

We stayed in 2 properties during our 3 week stay. Both cottages were very well appointed and Maria, who greeted us was very friendly and helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble. Owner, Fiona was also on hand and always had time for a a friendly chat no matter how busy she was. The facilities in the complex of properties was excellent including playhouse for our granddaughter and washing lines in ht garden. there was a very good grassy area for games and picnic tables for lunch/drinks outside. Each cottage had its own little outside space and the larger one had a BBQ area. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Guernsey. We will be back as soon as we can.
