This is a lovely quite hotel in the back roads of Guernsey, way away from any bustle. The room was big and well furnished. The restaurant is very good and very obliging. They opened at 6.30pm and I needed to get away for 7.15, so they allowed me to pre-order so the food was on the table at 6.30. I... More

We stayed in this pretty hotel for 6 nights in a premier room. Great bed and bathroom in a spacious room. ESPA toiletries in the bathroom. All staff, from the housekeeping staff to the managers were helpful, charming, and always ready to help. The food was excellent......my only foodie criticism would be that the menu didn't change in the 6... More

My client booked me into this hotel - it's about 15 minutes drive from the airport. It's a beautiful old building with large archways (where smokers are sent to avoid the rain). On arrival the receptionist made me feel very welcome. She was at a desk rather than behind a big counter. She took me on a tour of the... More

Beautifully renovated stonework building in the quiet lanes of St Martins...away from the bustle of St Peter Port, and a short walk from the cliff paths and Saints Bay, one of the best viewpoints on the island( a favourite haunt of Renoir in the 1880's apparently). Excellent , polite, knowledgeable staff in both reception and restaurant. Rooms are high quality... More

The staff were very helpful, our room was clean and well maintained, however the evening meal did not meet the standards we would have expected for the tenerfest, on the whole we did enjoy our stay and would stay again.

Stayed for a long weekend, the first 2 nights in a basic double room which was quite small. We were given a free upgrade to a superior room on our last night, (I was travelling with a broken collarbone!) The better room gave us a walk-in shower which was easier for me. The hotel has changed its layout over the... More

We have just returned from a family long weekend away, a 14 year old and a two year old in tow. We had adjoining rooms at the top of the hotel, perfect for our needs and well appointed. The cosy bar area was welcoming and had a lovely lit fire in the grate and the local gin very moreish. Breakfast... More

From the moment we arrived, until the minute we left there was nothing that was too much trouble for the staff. The first floor room was tastefully decorated and the bathroom was modern and well equipped. The bedding was Egyptian cotton an extremely comfortable. Although not in the centre of Guernsey, it is situated in a leafy suburb with numerous... More

I don't leave reviews very often but this is the second time I have been to Bella luce, the first was for afternoon tea which was incredible with an enormous amount of delicious cakes and the second was tonight for the tennerfest menu. My friend and I both had the beef Wellington which was mouth watering and then we both... More

Of all the wonderful places you can discover in the Channel Islands, none will unfold and embrace you as Guernsey's gentle parish of St Martin's; Renoir's dramatic bay of Moulin Huet and the Norman heritage of the Bella Luce. The hotel is the only AA red star property on the stunning island of Guernsey, ranking it in the top 200 in the UK and Ireland and is also a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. This is a hotel that dares to be refreshingly different, they would say a little bit of luxury but with your shoes kicked off.
