Visited family in Guernsey. Hotel ideally place on the island. Stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Food and beverage was excellent. Brilliant breakfast and a super tennerfest menu. Friendly attentive staff and a really well appointed room for the price. So much so I have provisionally booked another stay next year.

We once again returned to this excellent hotel For our wedding anniversary week away 5* welcome as usual. Luggage taken up to room for us . Very much appreciated. Thank you. Hotel and rooms kept spotless clean. By housekeeping . We enjoyed all our meals Tennerfest menu Was excellent. & Really good value for money. Local bus stop outside of hotel. Which is so handy to get in to saint Peter port & Catch other buses and over the island. We have all ready booked two holidays for next year. We were very happy that we chose this small country hotel on our first visit to Guernsey. In our opinion, it was much nicer than staying in the capital. Excellent customer service, and the hotel kindly recognised my birthday with several thoughtful gestures. This made our stay extra special. The receptionists, including Emma, were particularly helpful. Pre-visit information/service also excellent. The rooms were v clean. The restaurant food was of a very high standard (and service also excellent). My gluten free needs were catered for well. It was a nice touch that the Manager personally greeted each guest/table at breakfast. I think we may have preferred table service at breakfast. But there was plenty of choice on the buffet breakfast. Several nice walks/beaches within walking distance (though /beware- all involve steep, uphill climbs!). Bus stop outside of hotel with regular (cheap and easy to use) bus service. Although most bus journeys involved changing at the Port, we still preferred to stay in the country, and the cheapness/easiness of the bus service meant this wasn’t a problem. We thoroughly recommend a trip to Herm. It was nice to return to the peace of the hotel after a busy day. Nice pool and outside area. What’s not to love! We hope we may return again one day.…

We have holidayed at this hotel many times and always get excited when our next visit is on the horizon. The hotel is spotless the rooms are comfortable and the gardens are beautiful but the extra special things are the staff and the dining room. The food is excellent and the staff cannot do enough to help and make you feel special.

Having been to this hotel several times previously my expectations were high and I was not disappointed. The room (41) was delightful being spacious, well equipped and quiet. However the room was only the beginning as the staff are all wonderful and dedicated to make you enjoy the stay. We had lunch in the bar and my sea food meza was simply wonderful but the evening dinner was of Michelin standard and we sat eating and chatting to our friends undisturbed apart from excellent service well into the evening. If you want relaxation, comfort and fine dining this hotel is for you. Thank you Barbarie for another memorable visit.

The hotel was a lovely place to stay. Our room overlooked the pool and gardens and was clean and very spacious. The room had a very comfy super king sized bed as well as a leather settee, chair and plenty of storage space. A bath and separate shower in the bathroom was accessed through a small changing area and wardrobe. The staff in the hotel were very helpful and also very polite and pleasant. There is also plenty of parking space.

Excellent hotel in every respect. So nice to find a hotel run by people who genuinely care and focus 100% on customer service. The place is exceptionally clean and cleverly and beautifully decorated. Every team member we met was friendly, smiling and just wanted to do their best for each guest. We loved our pool view first floor room which was very well equipped and had a great bathroom. The restaurant is probably the best 4* hotel restaurant I have eaten in. Lovely seafood and lots of choice for everyone. The Tennerfest menu was exceptional value. Clearly a lot of people were returning guests and I can see why.
