A return to Les Rocquettes after far too long away. I had a newly renovated, supposedly "standard" room, with a brand new bathroom. The bathroom had the most incredible, totally non-slip flooring, and a fabulous walk-in shower - as good as any I have ever encountered. On my first night, it became obvious that the zip and link bed had no mattress topper. A quick word with reception the following morning, and all was fixed. I requested blankets and face cloths (flannels!) in advance and these were gladly provided. A real pleasant surprise in the bathroom was a "proper" tablet of soap! Also, the room was accessed using a "proper" key! Housekeeping were absolutely fantastic. All the staff were brilliant. I have a disability, and need extra help. This was gladly provided, as necessary. The restaurant is closed for renovations, but a full meal service was provided in Ella's Lounge. The staff here were particularly helpful - Neil and Jenny together with barman Mark all helped in their own ways. The real "star" of my stay (she will think I have forgotten her - no chance!) was Hannah. She was incredibly attentive - making sure that everything was as it needed to be. Together with Neil and Jenny she made sure that all the food and drink I ordered was "suitable" as I have type 2 diabetes! All food was meticulously cut into "bite sized pieces" and was delicious. Assistant Manager Mel Franklin made the arrangements in in advance of my stay. Sabrina and Adrian on reception were kind and efficient, too. I look forward to returning to Les Rocquettes and a few weeks. Grateful thanks to everybody.

A really lovely visit with good food, excellent sleep and thoughtful staff. Our room on the first floor overlooked the garden was quiet and had a balcony. The room was pleasant and well decorated! The restaurant food was really tasty especially the rack of ribs 😊. Breakfast was a wide choice all prepared to order. The health suite and swimming pool was used by us and appreciated. The hotel is well worth the visit and highly recommended.

Difficult one this because the Staff were excellent, our room was dated and in need of renovation but comfortable and the balcony was a bonus, the public rooms were also well appointed and comfortable, the breakfast was largely good if a little limited in choice on the continental side and location was pretty good for us. Why 3 star? It stems from one incident which I think is sufficiently alarming to warrant a mark down. On our arrival we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant but could only get a booking at 8.30pm. We were the last to take a table. My wife ordered seafood linguine. It said on the menu it contained clams, mussels, crab, and calamari. What turned up was linguine with no crab, no calamari, unopened mussels and empty clam shells but masses of pasta. We complained and remedies were offered which we declined because my wife felt insulted that the chef could serve her such rubbish and expected her to accept it and eat it. We didn’t have dinner there again and complained again to a manager at reception when we left. We hope that our complaint was acted upon a culture that accepts that it’s ok for an individual staff member to treat guests with contempt let’s down the excellent work of the rest of the staff and the hotel in general.

Lovely friendly hotel. Although the rooms and bathrooms could benefit from a little upgrade the hotel itself is lovely. The staff could not do enough for the guests, absolutely nothing was too much trouble!! Huge thank you to them all!! My only complaint was that when I would head to the pool to chill out I found it was full of non guests and children and struggled to swim and use area. However I would stay here again. Especially for the lovely breakfast.
