Why haven't I stayed here before I kept asking myself. Room was spotless, bed super comfy and recently made over. Shame they forgot the sound proofing. Staff are very friendly and super helpful. Pool is a nice touch and good views over the castle.

Hi I really can't remember but do call them. They were very helpful and accommodating when we were there. Also, is it worth posting something on the Guernsey trip advisor forum? You might get advice from local people in terms of other places to eat.

Sorry, I can't really help with this question. I don't recollect any children staying during this period. I do know they have some good size rooms. Recommend you contact the hotel directly. They're very helpful.

From memory, they have 2x single rooms - 1 in the courtyard and one in the main house. Our daughter has stayed in both and they're both good although I recall that the courtyard one was a bit gloomy; the one in the main house was fine and they've been refurbishing everywhere but can't say whether this has included the single rooms - knowing them, I expect they have. Like others, cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, especially the staff and their general attitude. It's a bit of a steep climb up Havelet Hill on foot but not too far and they do have a hotel mini bus at times!!

Currently the bus operates from 1st April until end of October. The first run is at 9.40 to the town and the ferries to Herm/Sark, from Hotel de havelet. Then 10.40 to the Bus Terminus and the town centre. There would be a pick up from the Bus station back to De Havlet at about 10.15 and from the town centre at 12.30. There is another pick up from the ferry drop off and bus station at around 5.30 .. The service operates Monday - Saturday but not on Sundays
