We have just returned from a very cheap and enjoyable stay at LEree Bay as many reviewers have stated it was a bit dated but extremely clean . The staff were friendly and the breakfasts wre very good .It was apleasure to have fresh fruit salad at breakfast which you often do not get in a 4 star hotel

My wife and I just spent a great 7 night stay at Le`ree Bay Hotel. The team are first rate, polite, careful and attentive. The owner Mark is also Chef and he knows his onions and everthing else that passed by his service. Friday was predictably Cod and chips on the menu. His beer batter was crisp, full of flavour... as others have mentioned, the hotel could use a bit of re-vamping but, if what you really care about great service and marvellous food, this is the place for you. We had better service there than we have had in places like the Grand Hotel in Brighton

Accommodation could do with a revamp but you do get what you pay for. All facilities catered for and breakfast very good. We stayed b&b so evening meal was our choice. We ate in the brassiere almost every night and it is highly recommended. Food, choice and service were first class. Fish and chips or Indian a few steps away. A... More

First appearances can be deceptive. Yes the hotel is dated and rooms could do with a make over but it is very clean, fresh good quality towels provided every day. Could do with the baths removed and showers installed in some of them. Food freshly cooked daily, fabulous home made soups, great dinners, breakfasts, puddings, all fresh produce cooked by... More

What a wonderful break away. Yeah the hotel is a bit dated but the rooms are cleaned and you get fresh towels everyday, which a lot of top places you only get 3 times a week! The room was en-suite and had fantastic sea views. You don't spend all day in the room so what does it matter if it... More

Lovely spot, however it is need of redecoration throughout. Breakfast lower than average, Didn't eat there as was rather scruffy, I know it's only a two star but the Island is a great place and a freshen up would benefit the hotel as it could be much nicer.

The hotels location is perfect for both the beach and a lovely sunset. However, the hotel is in some serious need of renovation as the rooms are very old and are rather small. The staff however are friendly.
