I stayed in the Granary apartments while isolating and then for some company training with a colleague. I honestly couldn't fault my stay! Both apartments we stayed in were nice and comfortable with all the creature comforts and some great extras like the Nespresso coffee machines! Jonathan went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and having a pleasurable stay.

The location was idyllic, peaceful and within walking distance of a bus stop that has services into St Peter Port and to L'Eree.

In conclusion I would recommend the Granary to anyone visiting Guernsey!

We stayed at the L’Eree apartment last week. It was excellent.
Over the years we have stayed in many self catering cottages flats etc but I can honestly say this was one of the best equipped we have ever visited.
For example, all the kitchen equipment was of the best quality. The apartment was exceptionally clean, spacious and very comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again or recommending it.

Clean, beautiful, well equipped, restful, peaceful and superbly positioned.
Our second stay in the Perelle apartment. The Granary is a very comfortable self catering stay. Everything is well thought out and should you have any additional requests Jonathan is available and willing to solve any matters arising - however we had nothing more to want. The views and surrounding gardens are wonderful. We love the natural world and the valley in which the Granary is situated is a haven for birds, wildflowers and trees. The icing on the cake of this incredible place is the Top of the World bench with stunning views of the coast and Lihou Island. There are fabulous places within easy reach by car or bus and walks directly from the apartment are equally enjoyable.

The Perelle apartment was perfect for us . Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Parking. Shower and bath. Comfortable and well equipped. Everything we could ask for and more for self catering. Immaculately clean (we have extremely high standards). Well serviced. Jonathan provided for everything we needed. Marvellous outdoor areas with views and really part of nature. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay and we are so glad we were able to be here at The Granary.

This was our first stay ay the Granary - it looked lovely on the website and was in fact even better than we expected. We stayed in 'Perelle' - one double and one twin bedroom each, with their own bathroom, and a large living room/dining room/kitchen - and it was spotlessly clean, well appointed and decorated to a high standard in a simple, tasteful style. We walked so far every day we just wanted to relax in the evenings and the apartment was just the place to do that. The kitchen provided everything we could need to cook for ourselves - including bread, butter, milk, tea and coffee to help us settle in.

The location is just what we wanted - very peaceful (disturbed only by a duck or two), and it was only a short walk to the beach, buses, fish and chip shop, breakfast at the Guernsey Pearl (REALLY good). We didn't try the Longfrie Inn, preferring to eat at the apartment, but it looked nice.

Jonathon and Aileen (and Charlotte) were friendly and welcoming and we felt instantly at home - the welcome message to Mark and Sue on the board at the end of the drive was a nice touch. The one afternoon we couldn't walk any further we sat in the beautiful and extensive gardens, by the Summer house, overlooking the small reservoir with only the ducks, blackbirds, bees and butterflies for company. We also liked the steep pathway behind the apartments, through a small wildlife garden to 'the top of the world', where there is a wonderful view of the bay - a great place to enjoy a gin and tonic while watching the sunset!

We are already recommending the Granary to our friends and family and I suspect we will return ourselves as well.

Just spent a week in the L'Eree apartment and was very pleasantly surprised on lots of counts; the photos definitely under-sell the size and amenities of the place; great Nespresso coffee machine; lovely TV with access to internet channels (Netflix!); spacious bathroom with heated towel rail; starter groceries; fresh flowers; incredibly well equipped kitchen etc etc. The location is a complete winner in one of the most beautiful and tranquil parts of the island and the grounds very beautiful too. Highly recommend and I completely understand why the residents in the neighbouring apartment were there for the 5th year running! I'll be back before you know it Jonathan!

We stayed as 2 family couples from 24-31 May 17. The apartment (Portelet) was really well appointed and so comfortable and clean. There were many thoughtful touches that made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and total relaxation. The grounds include various locations where you are encouraged to sit and read, have a meal or sip a drink whilst soaking up the beautiful location. We loved climbing to the "Top of the World" to see the views and watch the sunset. The Granary is perfectly placed for exploring this wonderful island whether by foot, bike or car. Jonathan was a pleasure to meet and made sure we had everything we needed.

We've been coming to Guernsey for years and in that time have stayed with friends, BnB's, Hotels and self catering apartments. The Granary Apartments are by far our best discovery to date. Clean, modern and the most beautiful calm and peaceful surroundings. 'The Top of the World' picnic bench really is the icing to it's 'other worldly feel' and it's so easy to relax and feel at home. Jonathan has done a superb job at getting the little things right and these individual touches make it feel like a home from home - complete with chickens!

The Granary apartments are in a quiet valley with some amazing scenery nearby. We didn't hire a car, opting to walk and use public transport. The island is well serviced by buses, with each trip costing £1/person. After a full day of walking, it was great to return to a comfortable, well-equipped apartment. The host was friendly, welcoming and on hand to answer any questions (if needed).
The location, the apartment, the host and the island made for an enjoyable holiday. I would definitely recommend!

My husband and I, along with our son and his girlfriend stayed at this delightful self catering property for a week over Easter. Hidden in a beautiful wooded valley next to an old mill house, this property was a real pleasure to stay in. Our apartment (Portelet) was clean and welcoming, with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The apartment was attractively furnished and well laid out. The view from 'The Top of the World' was gorgeous and well worth the climb and the morning chorus of birdsong was lovely to listen to. The blackboard at the entrance to the property welcoming us by name was a nice touch. We would happily return to stay again.
