Hotel is conveniently located 10 minutes walk from the airport and 15 minutes from cliff top walks and Petit Bot Bay. Buses pass the door every 15 minutes to both St Peter Port and west coast beaches. Room facilities are good but shower is small and radiator valves were stuck closed (It was October!). Good choice at Breakfast but, kippers...

A friend who was visiting stayed at Le Chene but was very disappointed at the tiredness of the place. It was rather like a grown up B&B as opposed to a hotel. The room was dark, smelt of urine and freezing cold as all the radiators were jammed to closed position so you could not alter the heating. The breakfast...

Staying for a mix of pleasure and business with an early fight in the morning this hotel provided all that was required. Clean and comfortable accommodation with quality breakfast at a very competitive price. Very friendly staff. Stayed two nights in September 2016. Would return and would bring my partner next time - who is a lot more fussy about...

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and the hospitality was faultless. Nothing was too much trouble - even when we asked for a couple of things 'over and above'. As for the food........excellent. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, coffee and fruit juice plentiful. Then our evening meal.......A*. The chef certainly knows how to cook steak to perfection!...

A short walk away from the airport (15 minutes along the main road) brings you to a lovely traditional bed and breakfast / hotel. Walking into the reception it just felt welcoming and comfortable. Although the reception had closed for the day (closes at 2100) there was a note on the desk with our room key, explaining where the room...

Good location on main road from airport to St Peter Port. On a bus route with buses every 15 minutes (summer timetable). Only 2 bus stops from the airport. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast - choice of 3 fruit juices, cereals, fruit, croissants, crusty bread, cold buffet with meats, cheeses and sometimes fish, yoghurts and choice of full English, scrambled...

My husband and l have recently returned from our usual stay at le chene. As usual the hotel did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we were made to feel welcome. A lovely choice of food at breakfast, we also had dinner in the hotel on one occasion, which we throughly enjoyed. The garden...

We found the hotel great. The rooms were quaint but had great beds and nice showers. The gardens were amazing. We could sit out the back and read a book. The breakfast was very good. The dinner we had there was very good. It was easy to catch a bus into town. The family and staff were very helpful

Very welcoming staff on reception perfectly polite etc. The hotel however was a bit dated in many aspects , the room was ok , but like the rest of the hotel just tired! Went for dinner there on a pre booked table at 6:30 but no staff there for a good few minutes ( I know it's only a few...
