😁 So happy to have found this little oasis. Couldn't get over the greeness, peace, views and what always makes it, the ones who keep it all going. Thank you to the three of you for being so helpful, friendly, jolly and working so hard to keep this site in tip top condition especially as it's at the end of the season and you've had a long 9 months. It was absolutely spotless everywhere. Personally think the caravan and bungalow combo works really well. The bungalows are so discreet and must have the most amazing views too, in their own area. A great addition for those of us with less mobile family members, and those who prefer more creature comforts, who would also love it here, to holiday here another time. If the income from these keeps the caravan park open and in such good order then thats wonderful. Long may it last. So much lovely green space. Washing facilities are a little dated only design wise, if that bothers you, but are obviously painted every season and still superbly maintained, spotless and incredibly hygienic. Plenty of discreet water points, bin areas regularly emptied throughout the day, loos and washing facilities. Everything you could possibly need within a 4 to 15 min drive. So much nature to enjoy....fabulous coves, berry head nature reserve, footpath walk to greenaway, Emmas plus the River cafe at Stoke Gabriel. Loathe to post a glowing revue 'cos I don't want too many more people to find it! I'll be back many times in the next few years. Very sad to be home already! 😢…

Very disappointed. We were thinking of seasonal pitch here because we've always loved it. But getting here this year we won't be coming back. Like many others we've spoken to and they're regulars too!! Shower block still hasn't been renovated!! But I think we know why. The plan I'd say is to get rid of touring and make it into an echo lodge site as they're £1000 per week we've been told!! There's 5 been built here already. They said it was full and the site is half empty!!There's gravel pitches empty!!!it's very odd!!!, the hedges are now so high you can't see the river dart unless you're standing up in your caravan. They've certainly ruined this site.so so sad.

We have just returned from 2 weeks in our tent as we are waiting for our caravan to arrive. Firstly the views are amazing, as you first drive onto the site you see the picturesque River Dart. The facilities are spotless 24/7 and the site well maintained. The team of wardens including Pete (sorry I can’t remember the couples name) were all warm friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed some lovely chats with them and they were always a bout to help out. The site is set on a hill but it didn’t cause us too many issues in our tent. The local area is full of places to visit. The village pub is great, really accommodating, just remember to book a a table. We loved how quiet this site is, you can listen to the wildlife for hours. We plan on returning once our caravan turns up and wouldn’t hesitate recommending it to friends. Well done and keep up the good work. …

What a beautiful site, view and facilities. The wardens were so helpful and friendly, they work so hard keeping everything ship shape, as it is there first season,. They have lots of ideas for the site, I will definitely be back just loved it. Thanks.

We booked last minute for 2 nights and Deb was really helpful and accommodating. The site is lovely with stunning views. Good pub nearby for food. Maybe a second shower/toilet block could be added, as the only one is not that close to the pitches.

Most if not all pitches are in need of maintenance with weeds needing removing from the coarse stones that serve as a hardstanding. Manual grass edge cutting by the site warden peppered our caravan with stones. Despite being told by the warden on arrival we could keep our private Transit Custom tow vehicle on our pitch we were later told by another obnoxious, augmentative jobsworth of a senior warden that we were not permitted to keep our tow vehicle on our pitch and had to keep it in the car park. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. We decided to end our holiday early and quit the site. To top it all off where our vehicle would have been parked on our pitch had we been allowed, there was a pile of dog mess. We would not recommend staying at this site, we have stayed at most of the sites in the area and all were in a better condition and more customer friendly than here, therefore we certainly will not be returning.…

We’ve just spent 10 days here and would definitely come again. Most of the pitches are serviced so there’s not a lot of to-ing and fro-ing to the water taps or they were seasonal pitches without anyone on them yet and no kids so it’s very peaceful and we enjoyed the lovely views. We had a standard pitch (25) which gave us plenty of room to spread out with awning, chairs, dogs, bbq etc. The wardens are helpful and friendly and the site is kept clean and in a very good condition. The only negative comments is the shower block is a bit dated, but clean and plenty of hot water. The site is smaller than it used to be (eco lodges being built) with no shop and only a very small dog walk area which is not enclosed so for £3.50 per night per dog it’s a bit steep!

Just returned from a 10 day stay here. All the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a pitch at the bottom of the hill so was a bit of a trek to the toilet block but nothing major. The showers and toilets were spotless. My only complaint would be that the showers are the push button sort and the water was too hot and couldn't be adjusted. The site was tidy and well cared for. Would definately go back.

WHAT A SHAME We have been visiting this site for the last 6 years. On our last visit arriving end of august 2021 the site seemed to be more like a storage facility than touring site loads of vans but no people. Toilets are now very dated and instead of money spent on updating them it is just being spent on the eco lodges being built. Its a bit like staying on a building site. For a site that we first visited that had approx 180 pitches this year all the pitches in front of toilet block are closed and staying closed. Apparently next year all the grass pitches are closing leaving about 45 pitches in total we were told about 30 seasonal 15 touring so if thinking of coming book early. sadly we will not be going back.

Just had six nights at this site and to be honest was glad to leave. The few positives are the fantastic view of the Dart, easy walking access to the South West Coastal Path and the very helpful and friendly site wardens. Unfortunately everything else is negative from there on in. The facilities are rundown, unclean and in a far corner of the site up a steepish hill, potentially an issue for some people. The hardstanding pitches are literally just the size of the van/unit and the awning area just dirt! The ‘dog walking field’ is the size of a small garden. On asking for laundry tokens we were told one machine was out of order and the other only washes on cold due to lack of water pressure and that situation was not being rectified as far as we could see. As stated on the website ‘An award winning family park’, the award we would give it would be for the oldest and tattiest park. The whole site needs major investment and refurbishment. If you stay at this expensive site you really are paying purely for the view!…
