Warm welcome from Colin and Jacky, and the weekend went very well from then on. Their accommodation is spotless, great breakfast and a nice room. Nothing too much trouble we would recommend to anyone and will be returning.

Jackie and Colin were genuinely welcoming, from arrival to departure. The Melville is well maintained and spotlessly clean, a very comfortable bed, filtered water, cookies, tea and coffee in our room. We had an excellent shower, towels that had the smells of summer what more could we ask? Oh yes, I should mention an excellent breakfast and attentive service. Jackie...

We stayed here for a couple of days over Christmas and we couldn't fault it, it's central for walking into the town and harbour and easy to get to by car. The room we booked was the small double but there was plenty of room, it was spotless and the bed and pillows were really comfy. There was complimentary tea...

The Melville is a lovely B&B with comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. The owners are very kind and attentive. The Melville is a very short walk from the town centre and harbour. Even in January there were lots of places open and we had some fabulous fish dinners. We've already booked to come again and see Brixham in the...

The breakfasts are very tasty, Colin makes the BEST cheese omlettes. Our room was perfect for us, clean, fresh soft towels changed daily. Will definitely...

Our stay was for 2 nights. A warm welcome from our hosts Jackie and Colin made us feel relaxed and at home from the start. Everything you'd want in a guest house was to hand. Our well serviced room was warm quiet, clean, with generous tea making facilities, biscuits etc. The dining room was home to lovely cooked breakfasts. We...

This was our third stay a The Mellvile and it didn't disappoint. We were in room 5 which is a nice double, amazingly fresh bedding, drinking water provided in the room and a clean hot shower. The breakfast was lovely, it was nice knowing it was all supplied locally. 5 minutes from the town centre and watching the Christmas light...
