We are happy that you thought the staff were helpful and we will pass your comments on to them. Your review shows the importance of letting management know when there is a problem. You would be surprised just how many people tell no one and then grumble about it here on Tripadvisor afterwards. With regard to smoking, even though there is no legislation that applies to smoking in holiday accommodation, we ask all our guests to refrain from doing so in the units. It is such a shame to hear that some people ignore our request, but obviously this is one area that is impossible to police. We were extremely proud of our entertainments team this year, the effort they put in was amazing. They all did a brilliant job and worked extremely hard to ensure everyone had a great holiday. We certainly do not ignore any constructive criticism and perhaps there are some areas that could be improved in the interest of future guests. We are aware of the situation and this is reflected in the prices we charge. It is rare to get a poor review about the entertainment, in fact, on this page alone, I read, "The club entertainment team were fantastic", " Mattie, Ann- Marie , Jade and Cerys were the best entertainment staff I have seen on any holiday park including Haven and Butlins", "There was solid, good, wholesome family entertainment that was obviously well planned for and delivered". I could go on..... However, we can all have vastly different opinions about the same subject and your thoughts have been noted. Hello "Nasher" The beach in question is St Mary's Cove and it isn't private, however, there is access to it from our via a public footpath. Yes, it's the same one and I understand the Riviera site also has access to the other end via a similar path. Pat Guest Relations Manager
