Hi, I assume that this message is intended for the hotel and nothing to do with me. I was a guest there. I do not know anything about their dog policy. We didn't take our dog with us. However, when we go places with our dog we usually check ourselves on dog policies, including access to rooms, bars, cafes and restaurants, we would never assume access to bars etc., even when our dog is allowed in our room. I would say it's the owners responsibility to check but that's just my view.

Good afternoon LivviH, Sadly Federico has indeed left Gidleigh Park. I am Paul and I have taken over from Federico. I am using the same email as the one Federico was using so please do feel free to contact me and I would be more than happy to try and be of assistance. Best wishes Paul Shanahan

Dear Mike, Sorry for the delay in answering your query. From Merrivale's balcony you have a view of the river and part of the garden. You are correct that it is not the full view of the garden/river and landscape that other rooms can offer. We are sorry if this wasn't made clear at time of booking. Thank you. The team at Gidleigh Park
