Stayed here for one night in November and the fact that I was the only person staying should have told me something. Rooms are ok but not worth the £95.00 that they charge and especially as this only includes a continental breakfast! If you want a cooked breakfast you need to pay more!! This was compounded by the fact that...

Staying for one night we extended to a second as the food and the welcome from the staff where both great. The rooms where comfortable with great showers, the only downside and it's a slight one is its proximity to the road but the moor stretches out behind the property given easy access to Widgery Cross and the open moor...

We lucked out booking this charming little inn at the last moment on our way back from Cornwall. Well worth spending an extra night breaking he journey here. Right on the edge of the moor, this place comes in to its own from the autumn with huge log fires and quirky little dining areas as well as a lovely new...

I loved our visit to the Dartmoor inn. After it being highly recommended by friends. We had waited for ages to be able to visit. Every dish was tasty, and staff were all trained to an excellent standard. There was something for everyone on the menu. Thank you. We will return....

We went back there again today after a lovely walk at Brentor up to the church. There is seating outdoors but we opted to sit inside. Dogs are allowed inside as well as outside. Once again we were made to feel really welcome despite the fact we did not book (It is best to book as they are very busy)....

Today was the second time we visited The Dartmoor Inn - it was a lovely warm day so we wanted to sit outside. We eventually found the hidden courtyard round the back, put our shopping down (we'd just visited the farm shop over the road) and went to go through the door to get a drink. The door was locked!...

Stayed here for one night excellent stay in a first class gastro pub, beautiful french styled room and wonderful dinner and breakfast. No hesitation in recommending this Inn. Also ideally situated for walkers to enjoy the moor.

Stopped in here for a light bite and ordered a Cheese Ploughmans. What we got was a pile of trying to be posh nonsense. The teeny tiniest crackers I've ever seen with a couple bits of salad spread across a board with a smudge of dressing. There was a good portion of cheese but NO bread and NO pickle. All...

We stayed two nights on the excellent value dinner, bed and breakfast offer. Room was lovely and large and the food very good, especially the local meat in the evening. Some brilliant walking on Dartmoor right outside the back door. My only negative comment would be the noise of the road which woke us up in the morning despite the...

The food was good and the staff polite, however, the place was a little lacking in atmosphere on a cold wet Saturday, despite the fire. We were encouraged to seat ourselves in an empty side room but I wanted cosy so asked if it would be alright to sit in the bar area and once our food order was delivered,...
