This beautiful House is just soaked in History and is truly something very special, we didn't feel like we were in a B&B we felt like we were at home. On arrival we were given a very warm and friendly welcome by the owner (I forget her name)whilst we were led to our room we were just amazed by how...

Visited on Saturday and it was their last day for the season. Well worth the £14 each we paid. Everything was home cooked. Scones were still warm. Location was lovely as we saw sheep and peacocks. The farmhouse still had originally features to it. Would visit again.

Set in a wonderful location Tor Royal is perfect for access to Dartmoor. The room in which we stayed was spacious and clean and had lovely views. On top of the friendly welcome and knowledgeable advice the owner provided a cooked breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients which was just the job for setting you up for a day walking...

Afternoon tea today was fantastic, the food was amazing, cakes moist and tasty, the lemon eclair was quite possibly the best cake/pastry I've even eaten! This year we've had quite a few afternoon teas and this one was the best by far, beats Bovey Castles afternoon tea hands down (and is half the price!!), to top it all off its...

Just spent 2 nights at this wonderful B&B, the owners are lovely and cant do enough for you, loved everything about it. As a single traveller sometimes you end up with nothing more than a shoebox parading as a room but not in this case. Very spacious and comfy room. Just as a footnote, if you book this B&B make...

Hot bath, late supper, interesting regency building. Dog-friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Hearty breakfast. I really enjoyed the historical ambience. Was stopover during a two-day hike. Justine also provided a very full packed lunch, that took me the whole of the next day to eat.

Had a delicious afternoon tea at Tor Royale this afternoon. Fabulous sandwich fillings, home made cakes, scones, plenty of jam and cream. Sat outside in the garden at a table for two as we had the dogs with us. Justine was extremely friendly, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble, despite it being a very busy bank holiday weekend. Was...

Stayed at the lovely Tor Royal Farm this bank holiday with my husband and two dogs. We were all made to feel very welcome and the dogs were even met by the farm dogs who were all very friendly too. The room itself was perfect, lovely and clean with plenty of space and right next to the front door for...

Great visit to Tor Royal Farms, very atmospheric and homey in a beautiful old farmhouse. It's still a working farm and has a lived in feel, very comfortable and quaint. We started with afternoon tea - huge portions & all of it delicious, with beautiful views out into the sheep pastures and the moor out of the dining room windows....
