Lady's Mile Holiday Park offers a vibrant stay with its lively atmosphere and entertainment that some guests may find a bit overwhelming. While the hotel's location garners praise for its convenience, opinions on value are mixed due to concerns over amenity access and pricing. The staff is frequently lauded for their excellent service, complementing the park's well-maintained cleanliness. Amenities like pools and pet-friendly features are popular, although technical issues with the app and Wi-Fi can occur. Room comfort is acknowledged, but noise can sometimes be a detractor.

Booked 4 night break in a lodge with hot tub, cost over £1300. Our expectation was for a nice relaxing break, our decision was not to make top much use of facilities but to enjoy the advertised tranquility of our accommodation and lodge.

Unfortunately we were allocated accommodation that backed onto the main Exeter to Dawlish road, heavy traffic from 6am to 11am, these were heavy lorries, no chance of peace and quiet. Our hot tub was also faulty, turned itself on at night for several hours at a time, full jets that vibrated through the accommodation. We reported this and the solution was for us to disconnect the main power to the tub at night and turn it on next morning. At least one night of an expensive stay ruined.

Other than that the facilities looked OK, we ate once at the bar, food expensive but as expected, quality was average.

Our main gripe is that the accommodation did not provide the relaxing holiday we had planned due to location resulting in sleepless nights and very early disturbances due to traffic noise.

We won't be going back.

We stayed here the week before half term with 2 adults and 2 kids in The Elms mini lodge. The lodge was bigger than we anticipated as had 2 en suite showers and we liked the fact that the bedrooms were at either end of the lodge. The kitchen had a full size fridge freezer and was equipped with everything you needed. The hot tub was great it was sunken in the decking and was private. The decking on the side of the lodge was good as there were 2 safety gates so was enclosed and very good if you had smaller children. The pool was warm and the kids loved the flume though you had to book sessions online. The pump track and park and multi surface sports court were also great to have.
The lodge did have a stain on the sofa and the double bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the blinds needed to be dusted. I don’t think the lodge was as clean as it could be however it did have extra cleaning in place and there was a list of all the high touch areas that had been sanitised.
Overall we had a lovely stay at lady’s mile and was really good value for money.

Just had the best holiday at Ladys mile. We stayed in The Firs lodge with a private hot tub. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. The master bedroom was spacious with its own ensuite shower room. The other two rooms were very small, but are fine as a base and are somewhere cosy to sleep. The hot tub was fantastic. We were unable to regulate the temperature of our hot tub and called reception for help. The staff were amazing. The hot tub maintenance team came out to us within half an hour and resolved the problem. The same man even came back the next day to personally follow up and check that the problem had been resolved. We were so impressed with the customer service that we received. I was also really impressed that the hot tub was fenced off from the rest of the decking area, and that we were able to lock the entry gate - this was great for us as it meant that my toddler could play on the decking area without the worry of him getting too close to the hot tub!

The children’s park is a really good size and suitable for children of all ages. It’s well maintained and it’s size makes it easy to maintain social distancing.

We used the indoor pool during our visit, we booked our time slot before arriving at Ladys Mile. Other than one other couple we had the pool to ourselves! We arrived at our swim session pool ready, and didn’t use the changing rooms when we got out but I believe that you can use them if you wish. The facilities were clean and the importance of social distancing was emphasised.

We went to the club house in the evenings and were really impressed by the covid safety measures in place. Door staff took details of all party members, for track and trace purposes before allowing you to enter the building. Inside, one way systems were in place and hand sanitizer was readily available. The bar was reasonably priced and the food was great value for money. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The holiday park is in a great location, with lots to do nearby. There is a footpath leading down to the beach. The beach is close by and is absolutely beautiful.

My only criticisms of the park would be that our accommodation was advertised as being a lodge, we were therefore expecting a cabin type building. It was in fact a static caravan with wood effect cladding. Despite this, the accommodation was lovely, just not quite what we were expecting. Secondly, we were unable to find any recycling bins, despite looking for them on several occasions. I really think that a park of this size should be doing all they can to promote recycling.

Our trip was absolutely fantastic and we are already discussing returning next year. A special thanks to the hot tub maintenance man for assisting us so promptly!

My family & I stayed in the elms lodge at lady’s mile which is a 12ft-wide mini lodge that sleeps 4. With a walk in Shower. Decking &outdoor hot tub. Upon arrival I noticed the lodge was spotless & the cleaners even left us a list of what they had cleaned which was very impressive! When entering the bedrooms, towels for the shower were arranged into different shapes on the beds which was nice too see that effort is put into aesthetics when the lodge is being cleaned. The WiFi is very overpriced but we personally didn’t need it because there is good phone service for if you have mobile data (like we did). The hot tub (that i mentioned in the description) was lovely to go and sit in of a night time, or even in the morning! Also there was a decking with picnic bench which we had multiple BBQ’s on (BBQ is not included with the lodge, I bought a disposable BBQ in the on-site shop). This was only my 2nd holiday in my lifetime but it was definitely the best out of the 2 holidays I have had. Also there are many amenities on-site such as; 2 swimming pools (one indoor one outdoor), kids playground, arcade, hair salon, gym, nightclub, bar, restaurant, ice cream shop & a shop for any bits &bobs you need. If you do not take a car full of shopping for the week like we didn’t, there is a large Sainsbury’s literally 30 seconds drive or 5 minutes walk from the holiday park. Lady’s mile holiday park was amazing so I recommend you give it a whirl on your next holiday & I guarantee you won’t regret it, as I will definitely be returning to Lady’s Mile Holiday Park in years to come!

We found the super meadow pitches of a good size with a large gravel area to park our motorhome & keep off wet grass. The toliet/shower blocks were plentiful (although very cold.)

The swimming pool was good fun with large waterslide. It was really warm in the swimming pool & the changing rooms. We used it every day. Only poolside showers (so not private) for you to wash hair (unless you go out to toilet/shower blocks.)

Clubhouse had good evening entertainment from 9ish including singing, dancing & comedy.

It is a short cut through the campsite plus 10 minutes walk to join coastal path. Dawlish Warren is 20 mins walk from reception. We had our dog who loved the walks. Although it is a shame for there to be no areas in the clubhouse to take your dog (e.g part of bar area.) Maybe for out of season they could consider this.

On that note, the clubhouse entertainment seating area was quite busy, and that was surprising as most of the pitches were shut (as seasonal only), so we would probably only go back out of main season.

Stayed Friday - Monday in our touring caravan on the Haldon hard standing pitches. Find a pitch and set up where is free, it had been raining quite heavy so the grass was very wet getting on to the pitch as it was very busy to manoeuvre easily. The camp site is huge!! We didn’t even get chance to go and see the bar, restaurant, fish and chips or shop. The marquee for the evenings looked nice for the top of the camp site. We went out every day to either Dawlish Warren (15 minute walk) or Dawlish (10 minute bus) the bus stop right outside was convenient and £10 for a family ticket which allows you to travel all day in Torbay. The shower blocks by us were nice and clean, the showers however were hit and miss, occasionally went cold and you had to press the button every 10 seconds to get water out, but I have been in worse facilities. I would like to come back and make use of the other facilities we didn’t get chance to use.

Just back from a stay at Lady's Mile. We stayed during the heatwave, which was a bonus too! We area family of 4 with ne adult a wheelchair user. Our accessible caravan had everything we needed and I thought the welcome pack was a lovely touch, including a range of necessities that people often forget to take (tea towel, sponge, washing up liquid, tea bags etc.) We had to call reception a couple of times - there was an extra bed in the double room, meaning not enough space for the wheelchair and we lost hot water once but both things were rectified immediately (literally within 5 or 10 mins of the call!). It was a busy week so I was really impressed with that! The site was has everything you can think of really. My boys enjoyed the pump track and football pitch the most. We only used each pool once, because of the weather we spent most of our time in the sea! But they were lovely. The indoor pool was lovely and warm and booking meant it wasn't too busy in there. The clubhouse/arcades wasn't really for us and the beer there is really flat! But we found such a gem in the marquee bar. Definitely more our vibe, chilled live music, good beer and all whilst watching the sunset. Absolute bliss. Hubby enjoyed the football matches on the big screen too. There was one artist (can't remember their names), an older man with a guitar and younger on a drum box, maybe father and son. They were amazing! Could have listened to them all week! We really enjoyed taking picnics on the top of the hill, a perfect spot for watching the sunset 🌇 My only gripe was the WiFi that we paid extra for at the beginning of the week. It doesn't work. My son got it very occasionally but I never got it. So my advice - don't waste your money ad go to the bar instead where you can get access for free. Overall, a fantastic stay in a place that really does cater for every taste in such a beautiful part of the country.

Came for a weeks holiday and we stayed in the alder lodge. It was spotless and very spacious even with 6 kids running around we never felt crammed in together. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. Sainsburys is a few mins away which was a bonus. The Only downside was i wish we did 2 weeks as there was so much to do even with the covid situation and the lodge was perfect we will definitely be coming back. The park itself- perfect, had everything we needed with 6 kids. Playarea, trampolines, arcades, pool. Its the 1st time we've ever done a holiday park and after this we will definitely be having more. Beat my expectations big time! Very impressed.

Stayed for a week in July and this review is only about facts.
The park is located a short drive from Dalwish and a short, but steep walk down to Dawlish Warren. Plenty of amenities onsite as listed in the site brochure and prices were acceptable and staff friendly. Only used the restaurant on the first night as arrived late and were tired. It did it's job but the food, although reasonable in price and portion was what you expect to find in large chain run pubs across the country.
The Lodge we stayed in was extremely well appointed and had a roof terrace that gave amazing views across the valley as well as a hot tub outside. The hot tub was VERY hot and we ended up unplugging it so it was bearable on the hot days we were there. It was only on the last day when staff informed us that we could ask for the temperature to be adjusted to our liking and so maybe this is something they should add to the information sheet? Especially as we tried and failed before resorting to the unplug method....
The lodges don't have air conditioning and can get very hot and we noticed a few guests had either brought fans with them or bought them from the Sainsbury's supermarket that is situated next to the site. They do have heating though, so if it's cold on a night the radiators kick in fast and the lodge heats efficiently.
Kitchens are well appointed with equipment and utensils but the knives in the knife block were extremely blunt so if you intend using them, bring your own sharpener!
There is no real onsite wi-fi and the one provided on site is free but poor in communal areas and is expensive to pay and poor performing elsewhere so we stuck with our providers service which was fine.
Overall, and this is only our view after NOT using any facilities, the weeks break was good value for money, staff helpful when we asked and spoke with them around the lodges, which were clean, comfortable and in a very pleasant environment.

We have visited the park 5 times before and always felt we had a good time and good value, however on this occasion the park let it's self down in so many ways.
We paid £650 for one week on a grass pitch, this is twice as much as the same time last year, when only every other pitch was being used due to covid and the cost should have been £450 before a reduction.
The showers and toilets, despite the best efforts of the staff, were a disgrace and should have been cleaned at least one more time each day. No litter pickers were seen after the first day and security seen only once despite large groups on site and seemingly lots of first time campers oblivious to Park Rules and general camping etiquette. The site staff need to be more vigilant to dogs being let loose on pitches and generally anti social and thoughtless behaviour - no point having rules if they are not enforced.
Shower blocks are tired and need up dating big time, and more thought about some of the simple things as stacking shelves above the kitchen washing up sinks, hooks for hanging clothes in the showers and around wash basins etc.
So in a nutshell, far, far too expensive and too little effort to make it a good experience for all the visitors.
