Great pub a very well run establishment with friendly staff. We sat in the garden several times while staying at at near by campsite as dogs are welcome we were amazed at the children's play area brilliant for family get togethers.

The staff and management are very friendly. Room was great, bearing in mind the hotel was built in 1690. Gardens at the rear are delightful sloping down to a stream. Food is excellent and a very well stocked bar, bit pricey but that's today's Devon....More

I'm sorry I don't know the answer to that because we didn't drink the real ale there but they did have a good selection at "The Sawmill" which is near Watermouth Castle
