Myself and a friend recently stopped here and enjoyed it. Rooms were spacious enough and clean. Hosts were friendly and welcoming and breakfast was very good. Parking was a slight issue but can't be helped and there is off road parking available. If in Ilfracombe again would definitely stay. Thankyou.

Second time visited now on annual football trip tour to Combe Martin. Always made to feel very welcome by Dave and Diane whose service is superb. They also do a great breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We only stayed one night to break our journey home I was a bit concerned after reading some of the negative reviews however I found it clean, functional and the owners were very welcoming. Parking is tricky. Parking itself was OK as we just pulled forwards into one of the side bays, but turning the car around the next day... More

Lovely room with a view overlooking street. Hosts warm and very welcoming. Breakfast excellent choice and well thought out. Just shame wasn't warm enough to use outside pool as looked inviting. small coastal village with sufficient amenities public houses serving good food.

The room was comfortable and clean with the usual modern facilities. The highly regarded breakfasts lived up to expectation. The car parking is not for the timid but far from as bad as reported. The location is ideal for investigating the area.

Just returned from a 4 night stay with Dave and Diane, our second stay with them, and we can honestly say that from arriving at 9-30 in the morning being greeted, way too early to check in, with a pot of tea to Leaving today after another great breakfast we were treated like one of the family. Booked this after a website search. From images on website it looked ok. However pictures never give a true story. Hotel is not an apt name - it's a budget B&B, charging not budget prices. Parking is terrible. Carpark has really steep slope that unless you drive a smart car it would be difficult to get in and out. We... More

We booked this after a quick internet search came up with reasonable reviews and found it also recommended in the rough guide for devon. Il be brutally honest and say first impression was,oh dear, very much old school seaside b&b,but that's more the building and location to be honest-you do look out at a variety of roofs and houses, before you get,the... Booked a short break for the end of the Summer holidays with my family. Paid our deposit and after two weeks were informed via Travel Republic that the hotel was shut on our first night and would we mind booking in a day later! So my 4 day Summer holiday was now a 3 day one. My wife called the... More
