Booking was easy and correspondence good. Spacious park within walking distance of the beach. There is not much to buy on site so you do need to go into town to get supplies like milk, eggs etc... but again it's within walking distance. Toilets and showers are clean and spacious. You are charged for the use of the bath, think it was £2 for so many minutes. I've been to other cam sites where you can have a bath for free so as my partner loves a deep bath we gave that a miss. Staff are all friendly and resident cat is gorgeous 😍 slept on our bed one day so sweet. Not sure what it's like in busy times but September 12th for a few days was lovely. Not over busy so no queuing for showers or washing up areas. We would definitely go back here again and recommend to friends. Really enjoyed our stay there. …

Last visited here over 25 years ago whilst tenting with the kids, now in a camper. Great site, very clean & tidy, friendly staff, easy check in. Dog friendly with large excersie area. Short walk to Combe Martin & beach. Will definitely come back for a longer stay.

This campsite gets better and better . Since I last stayed here only a few years ago water and electric hookups are available on every pitch even for a tiny tent. The pitch sizes are extreamly generous and the shower block is excellent like private showerooms .The kitchen and laundry facilities are very good too. Dogs we had 3 with us are very welcome with a lovely woodland walk on site and the dog friendly Newberry beach only yards away. We had a great time and will definatly be back.

Wonderful location, perfect for a walk into Ilfracombe along the coast path which can be accessed via the lane directly opposite the campsite entrance. The staff are lovely and always wave & say hello when zipping around on their golf buggies. Generous size pitches with lots of different areas to choose from. Individual shower rooms each with a shower, toilet, sink, mirror & chair. Only thing missing from these rooms is a small waste bin for face wipes, cotton wool etc as the only place to put rubbish is in the sanitary bin. The showers aren’t great for short people or if you’re trying not to get your hair wet so bring a shower cap! Hot tap water pressure terrible in the bathroom sinks and dish washing sinks. But all in all a great site. Don’t forget to bring a torch, it’s pitch black walking to the toilet at night!…

Stayed as tourers in our motorhome. Receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful, best we ve had on any site. The site is a proper hidden nature setting. You can indulge in a massage on site ( 48 hours notice needed) and also shimanic healing session or gong bath. it has its own fishing lake, Dog field and woods. We had our 2 pups with us and the setting is great for access across the road and down a walk way path to the first beach(3minutes), Up the steps at the edge of this small dog friendly beach is another path with excellent views over the towns main beach. The town is above the beach. 10 minutes from site. Shower blocks are very private ( separate rooms) and theres a bath room if you prefer a soak in the bath. There's no clubsite so no drunks going past your pitch. Nice and relaxing. There's a viewing field to see the alpacas too. Highly reccomend this site if you want a nice quiet getaway with east access to Combe Martin. 10 minutes from Ilfracombe on the bus. You will need a torch if you are heading back to site late as it is a nature site so not lit up very well. …

We arrived late to the site in the dark and Jackie and Bobby made sure we were settled in a temporary pitch for the night. As first time motorhomers we were very grateful, we had had a long journey and were worried we might not be let in!! But they were so lovely and kind!! Thank you so much. Newberry Valley is a lovely well kept camp site. 5 mins from Combe Martin beach and thr little town. Really nice place to stay. We would recommend it to friends and family.

Pros: lovely large pitches with electric points close by. The lanes layout means you do not feel crowded by other campers. Really clean and tidy site. All staff that we met were lovely and really helpful. A really quiet site, especially at night - no noise tolerated after 10:30 which suited us perfectly. The lake was lovely to walk around (we didn't fish). Very close to Coombe Martin. The dog friendly beach opposite the site was lovely. The individual toilet/shower rooms were a nice touch. Cons: The shop could do with stocking more as the nearest decent shop is about a 25 minutes walk away uphill. The water pressure was always low when trying to wash up or shower. You cannot adjust the shower temperature so either boiling hot or luke warm pot luck. All in all it was a lovely site and we would go back - the campsite cat was really cute no idea what his name was but my daughter called him Brian 😀…

Haha - Brian is otherwise known as Shadow and belongs to a lady down the road but he loves to make friends with all the campers. Thanks for your great feedback :)

We have recently returned from a lovely few days away at Newberry Valley. We camped with our friends and have had such a lovely time. The site is beautiful and very well kept, everywhere is so clean. I wanted to give a special mention to Bobby & Jackie, they are so friendly and helpful. They really made our holiday special and will definitely return to see them. It is only a few minutes walk from the beach and the lovely little village. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you for making it so special.

A wonderfully peaceful location, set amongst rolling hills & only a 5 min walk to a dog friendly beach. Very well maintained facilities,(large private shower rooms) with all amenities kept very clean & all the outside areas pristine. Friendly & helpful staff. Washing machines, an iron, microwave available. The site has a quiet policy after 10.30pm so wonderfully quiet. As Motorhome owners, the one downside, the access to the grey water dump is the far end if the site (in fact not a problem for us as we have a waste hog) but drinking water & EHU available on each pitch which is a great asset. Worth noting, Coome Martin is a small village, good location for walking the coastal paths but without a vehicle the area is limited. Good open top bus, the Exmoor Explorer, which goes from the village towards Minehead in one direction (Lynmouth worth a visit) & towards Ilfracombe in the other. Too hilly for bikes! Lots of Kayaks & paddle boards in the bay.…
