We held a large wedding at Westermill Farm where we used a marquee, some guests camped and others stayed in the beautiful, homely chalets also on the farm. It was to have been a meticulously planned event, BUT, we were let down by the marquee supplier who only managed to supply 2/3rds of what we asked for. This would normally...

After booking and paying a deposit, I looked on google earth. The approach road is single track fro about 2 1/2 miles and there are few passing places. I phoned some persons locally and was told "don't attempt that road". I therefore cancelled the visit and asked for the deposit to be returned, which was declined, the owner referring to...

We did not pre book but there was plenty of space, we could choose between 4 fields either near the stream or further away ...all set in a lovely lush valley. There was a great rope swing which the kids loved and playing in the stream. The shower block looked quite newly renovated and in pristine condition . They had...

I have been camping at Westermill Farm a few times now. It is in a valley that the river Ex runs through, it is a proper working farm. There is no electric hook up, but it is not a problem. There is a farm shop, The showers and toilets are always clean and there is always plenty of hot water....

Our 2nd visit to Westermill farm, and will definitely return again. It is in our opinion the perfect family camping experience. We have camped numerous sites across the UK and I think this is our favourite...our boys love the river and the walks. The facilities are excellent - the drying room is tab!

We have just returned from a few days camping at this truly lovely site. The set up is laid back and informal which immediately places the emphasis on you enjoying the beautiful countryside whilst relaxing......which is what camping is all about. The camping field system ensures that all pitches are relatively flat and close to the river which is such...

We have just returned from a lovely few days at Westermill. Facilities were great - lovely clean and tidy washing up area, warm and clean family shower room, very useful drying room, simple shop with basics and nice big campsite next to the river - endless fun for the children on the campsite. Oliver, the owner, was super friendly and...

Stayed here for the last week of August. Having read the reviews prior to arriving I have to say I was not disappointed in any way. On arrival the young lady that booked us in was very friendly and courteous. The site is over 4 fields and we chose the 4th so we could have a camp fire. The fields...

Wonderful stay here with my family. The booking procedure was painless, we were welcomed by a charming French girl and directed to field 4, where camp fires are permitted. The small on site shop is well stocked and the facilities are the best I have come across. Would certainly recommend to family and friends, best camping experience! We are planning...
