Lovely welcome and brilliant breakfast, excellent hosts, lovely sausages! Great value for money! Rooms comfortable, all en suite, we took the place over, 7 of us. Mix of doubles/twins. (No locks on rooms, which was no problem to us) Nearest pub or food 1m away. We'd stay again and recommend it!!!

Ash Barton is a lovely place with great facilities for all ages, the swimming pool is well heated and pretty. I'm here with my college course group filming short stories and having a fun time together. Lots of noise is not a problem so the rave can go on all night in the chapel and kitchen #dxp

We (myself and 4 friends) stayed at Barton House over New Year. Wendy and Howard were very hospitable. The house is quiet, and stunning inside. The rooms have great ensuite facilities, and the bedrooms are a good size. The house is a close driving distance to the beach, as well as Woodbury Common, which has great walks! I'd recommend this...

We've just returned from an excellent one night stay at Barton House. Wendy and Howard were perfect hosts and the setting of Barton House is delightful - up a country lane in a quiet spot almost adjacent to the picturesque church St John-in-the-Wilderness in the parish of Withycombe Raleigh which is, to all intent and purposes, in Exmouth. Looking for...

Barton House was our pre-race camp and ideal base for the Commando Challenge. It was raining and a bit miserable outside but all was warmth once we crossed the threshold. Wendy and Howard were hospitality personified; they were friendly and efficient without being formal or in any way overbearing. The room was lovely; the bed comfy, all the essentials provided...

We stayed here for 2 nights en route to Cornwall. The owners were friendly and helpful with excellent advice on walks and places to eat. There is lots going on nearby.
