Whenever we stay in Exmouth we try and book in here. Location is perfect, staff are friendly and place is very clean. Parking is very reasonable for the night. This time had a sea view and also a bath in the room. One of the best Premiers i have stayed in. Close proximity to ecerything you need. Nothing to fault it on.

We are very pleased that we chose to stay at the Premiere In , Exmouth Sea Front.
The hotel car park was easily accessible when we arrived in the evening. The room is spacious and clean . The room was quite with no external noise or noisy guests
The bathroom, Aircon and appliances all worked perfectly. Clean kettle with tea and coffee available.
We felt quite safe with regards to the pandemic with adequate signage and hand sanitisers in reception and entrances
Breakfast was excellent , all was freshly cooked and well presented
Most importantly; the staff were professional, friendly and very helpful.
Location is great straight on the promenade.
To summarise I truly believe that this hotel deserves an Extra Star . The staff deserve five stars. Thank you

I stayed at this hotel with my Husband and 5 year old son. It was a last minute 2 night stay and I couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice. I just wished we would have booked longer.
Fantastic location - the hotel is on the seafront. We were lucky enough to be given a sea view room.
Being able to nip back from the beach to use the toilet and freshen up was so convenient with children.
Lovely sandy beach which wasn’t too busy.

Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Short walk into town and to the quay. Lots of restaurants and bars around to get food and drink.
Staff were very friendly, quick and easy check in and out. Was able to park in the car park, at 4 pound per night we were very happy with that.

Will definitely stay here again.

Have been staying regularly at this hotel since it opened and have always had a good stay. However it’s now becoming quite apparent that the rooms are getting quite tired and could do with redecorating and a bit of TLC. We stayed 4 nights in room 207 and the bathroom in particular was looking well past it’s best. There were patches of mould on the ceiling above the shower, and a lot of black mould around the bottom of the shower enclosure doors. There were also spatters on the wall where towels were hung and peeling paint on the skirting board. A lot of this was probably caused by the extractor not working properly, so the bathroom was continually awash with condensation. Similarly in the bedroom itself there was quite a bit of mould along the bottom and sides of the window.
I fully appreciate that rooms cannot be cleaned daily due to COVID safety measures, but that being the case the bathrooms really do need need to be provided with a toilet brush and a few disposable wipes to clean the handbasin. To put it bluntly I wouldn’t live with a dirty toilet and handbasin at home for 4 days, and I don’t expect to when I’m away!
The other thing this hotel needs to sort out is the meeting room that is actually used as a junk room, and is one of the first things you can see from the front of the hotel. There are no blinds or curtains so it’s basically a highly visible eyesore spoiling what is otherwise an attractive building in a fabulous location.
On the plus side the staff were as always really nice and helpful, and in terms of coping with the difficulties posed by Covid doing a great job. Breakfast in particular was well organised. One tip - book your breakfast in advance and then turn up at the agreed time, because they obviously cannot cope with large numbers all turning up at the same time when providing table service.

Easy check-in. Hand sanitisers everywhere for guests, masks to be worn around the hotel, although many guests chose to ignore this. Our room was clean with good quality towels and bedding. Tea and coffee making available. We had a wonderful sea view. This hotel literally is just across the road from the magnificent beach. We didn't use the bar area. Breakfast time had to been booked at check-in. We did queue and had a bit of wait each morning but they were using a one way system. Again, not all guests stick to the rules. We stayed for 3 nights and the first two mornings the breakfast were nice but not exactly hot, on our last day the breakfast was extremely good, very hot and presented well. It is a self check out which works well. Very good location. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends who are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a very good location.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at this hotel and can't recommend it highly enough. The hotel is fairly new and in excellent condition and is superbly located by Exmouth seafront. Our stay was just after the Covid-19 lockdown easing so we were slightly worried about going away but a phone call from Premier Inn prior to our stay really put our minds at ease. They explained the steps being taken and, while this affected our stay in some ways, we really didn't notice too much while we were away. Hotel staff were not permitted in our room during our stay but we were provided with clean towels, bedding and toiletries whenever requested.

The staff were really friendly and helpful in what must be very strange times for them.

Very much recommended.

Starting with the positives, the hotel is in a great location right on the seafront, the bed was comfortable & the room had air conditioning. There was also on site parking. On the occasions we had breakfast this was good.
However, despite the fact that this is a relatively new building it all looks a bit shabby & tired. We had a room overlooking the sea front which was good but the windows were sealed “for your safety” ! !! No fresh air so we had to run the air conditioning constantly resulting in a very dry atmosphere. The extractor in the bathroom was totally ineffective so it was regularly steamed up & damp.
In common with other Premier Inns there was one chair & one towel. When a room is booked for two people it should be equipped for two people and not one. Extra towels were provided on request but guests should not have to chase up adequate supplies. Storage space is woefully inadequate with limited hanging space & a single drawer. The room was also fairly small so it was impossible to get past the chair to get to the bathroom.
Premier Inns are still not providing room service. This is fine for a one or two night stay but we were staying six days & had to ask for cups to be changed & bins to be emptied. We have stayed at several other hotels recently & all have provided room service. Premier Inn seem to have used Covid as an excuse to reduce the service but with no reduction in the prices charged. We paid over £800 for six nights which did not represent good value.
Finally there was on site parking but there was no guarantee of a space even though the parking fee was taken up front. On one night we did have to park elsewhere.

This is our second stay at the hotel and it has been fantastic. The staff are attentive and caring.

Our son has severe food allergies and tables were double cleaned, utensils double washed and food prepared to order. It was Service above and beyond our expectations.

I can’t thank Beverley and her team enough for making what could have been a stressful time, epically amazing.

Rooms are lovely the sea view is stupendous, we’ve booked again.

This hotel is more expensive than others in a similar location, car parking costs extra, dinner is not available, and rooms vary from those with magnificent sea views with shower and bath to others overlooking the rear car park and no bath, all for the same price, so best to check with reception when booking in, you might be lucky. That being said, despite these relatively minor issues, the hotel is very good overall, situated right on the seafront and convenient for all Exmouth amenities. We found the staff friendly and attentive and enjoyed each morning of a three day stay a fine breakfast served up by a highly competent and cheery Chef who clearly loved his job.

Great location, right on the sea front, parking around the back for £4 per night which you pay up front

In the world of the new normal, this was our first hotel stay since lockdown.

The rooms weren't serviced during our stay, but we were given the local number for reception to request towels, bed linen etc.

We had breakfast on 3 mornings, it was a little strange. You have to say what time you want breakfast, and you cannot stray from the time as we tried to get in 7 minutes early and we were turned away to come back at the allocated time.

You have to request everything, although a self service coffee machine arrived on our last morning. There is a toaster, with 2 slices of bread in a bag.

I am sure everyone will get used to it including the staff.

It would have been lovely to have a sea view but unfortunately we had a view of the carpark.

We were contacted 2 days before we arrived to tell us about the changes, what to expect, and how they would like us to check in.

Mainly worried about parking. How often is car park full that you have to find other places to park?
Answer from BurtonOnTour
Solihull, United Kingdom129 contributions93 helpful votes
Decent sized car park at rear or PI, normally spaces available, there is parking direct opposite on the esplanade which is free 6pm-8am or there is large public car park close which is also low cost and offers long term (3+ days on single ticket) if need to park up and leave.
