Visited for two nights to play golf. Accommodation absolutely fine and there is so much to do the room was only used for sleeping and changing. Bar facilities a little dated but beer prices very reasonable and food option varied and plentiful! The golf courses are absolutely stunning. Each hole gives you a chance if you stay straight and the...

A few of us from the local snooker team booked hear for an after season short break after it had been recommended by one of the lads from the team, we went the week after winning the cup championship - so had something to celebrate as well as having a well earned break. We arrived on the Monday and it...

Fortunately we had just a 1 day stopover. Firstly no postcode for ashburys online so had to call in at the manor house for directions on the way. Was kept waiting at reception and no acknowledgement by staff. Room had not been hoovered as there was the remnents of some broken jewellery on the floor, visible dirt and the bed...

After having visited the sister Manor House Hotel in 2015, I took the 3 kids here for a short October half term break. The experience was very similar, so please also that review for feedback. There is the flexibility to drive between the two hotels, only 5min drive, and freely use either hotel facilities. The Ashbury is great for golfers,...

We enjoyed a three night golfing trip from 27 April 2017 with plans to meet up with friends. The Ashbury is a unique, mid market leisure facility with the emphasis on golf. With seven golf courses to choose from and 400 buggies available (at from £16 per 18 holes as from 1 May 2017) plus £20 deposit; keen golfers will...

Had third great visit to Ashbury hotel primarily for the excellent golf - but tried the new tennis courts this time. (2 indoor courts available) Good surface - carpet - and fast - but problem with ventilation. Actually we could see no ventilation at all and had to open the doors at both ends for fresh air. Not great as...

The golf is very good , yes the courses are hilly and a buggy is essential but the courses condition was good and offered...

This was our third visit - our party comprised three children, two parents and three grandparents. We all did different things and we all had a fantastic time. Every time I was playing tennis/badminton/snooker etc I kept thinking what we would be paying if we were at Center Parcs, whereas here it was free and unlimited! We had some amazing...

Stayed at the Ashbury Hotel and played golf everyday. All the courses were excellently maintained and challenging with each course offering different challenges. Views were fabulous also. Hotel covered all our basic needs and the restaurant food was plenty and of a very good quality.

Visited the Ashbury Golf Hotel in Okehampton with lots of Golf with excellent views over Dartmoor. The Golf Courses are in excellent condition and can always get a space if you haven't booked tee times. I would advise you book your golf before you arrive so you don't miss out. Willows Par 3 course you dont need a buggy but...
