Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great site. Spotless facilities. Friendly helpful staff. Pitches are large and appear to be mostly full service. The road to Morthoe is narrow without footpaths however a bus stops right outside the gate and runs hourly til 6. Cross country walks are very pleasant into the village. The dog walking area is amazing. Fenced, huge with lots of wooded areas for the dogs to explore. It has dog bins and benches in each section. The boot wash area and dog shower great and most useful

This was our first visit to Warcombe Farm. The site is well set out mainly kept to a very good standard. Shower blocks very clean, although the showers where not that hot. Got to have the best dog walk for dogs, our dog loved it. All the staff were very friendly. As for the pitch we were on, it is advertised as a sea view, It is not there's a big hedge in front which has not been cut, so the only view you get is of the hedge row. The pitch we have been on was very muddy with a lot of the grass killed off, but at this time of the year you tend to expect that. You have to be off your pitch by 11am which is their policy. Now on all of the sites we been on as long as there is no one coming onto the pitch after you, they allow a later departure at a charge so don't expect the option of a late departure from this site. But it does seem it depends on who you are as we did see a sign reminding a set of campers to be off their pitches by 12pm on day of departure. The beaches are not that far from the site, Woolacombe has a great beach that is dog friendly and there are plenty of nice walks. Would we recommend this site to other's yes, you find all the staff very friendly, site is lovely and well kept. Would we return it not going to be on the top of our list, as on a couple of points we didn't find them very flexible, but we may at some point return. Chris & Nicola

Thank you for taking the time to review our beautiful park. Thank you for your feedback. The departure time is the same for everyone 11 am. We are unable to cut any hedges from 1st March - 1st September due Defra rules. I am glad that you found all of the staff friendly and that you appreciated all the hard work involved in keeping the site tidy. We do hope that you will visit us again in the future.

First time to this lovely campsite greeted with a warm welcome shown to our pitch which was very spacious and a lovely sea view. Sheltered by hedges and trees The showers and WC are spacious and well done out hot water all the time. The dog walk is enclosed 14 acres of mown grass and woodland it was stunning and to top that a doggy wet room at the end to wash them off it was amazing. The site is so peaceful the only sound to hear is the birds. The site is 10 minutes from woolacombe and ilfracombe .Thank you Warcombe farm a lovely relaxing time we will be back x

Absolutely love this campsite and that’s because it has a great dog walk, curfew from 10pm so quiet across the park, immaculately clean wash facilities, hedging/trees sheltering you between pitches, a fishing lake (well stocked), various takeaway vans throughout the week and a small shop and of course friendly and most helpful staff, it’s also superbly positioned to offer day trips and long coastal walks. Just some of the reasons why I return year on year

Just returned from two weeks at this lovely campsite. We were in a tent and were accompanied by nine other family members including 4 young grandchildren on four pitches. As per other reviewers we were slightly worried by the odd negative comments made by other visitors but they couldn't have been more wrong This was the second visit to the site and the standards and customer service are still as high as they have ever been. Firstly the hygiene standards on the site, especially the shower and toilet blocks, are exceptional. They are cleaned regularly and there is always a good supply of hot water. The pitches themselves are large and can easily accommodate a family tent and gazebo. We had electric and water on the pitch as well as a picnic table and hard standing for the car. Although none of us are fishermen the grandkids loved going to the lake to feed the ducks and there is also a great playground onsite. The site is close to the beautiful beach at Woolacombe and there are plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants nearby. The staff are the best asset of the site. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly, helpful and always polite. And yes there are rules in place which the owners ask everyone to follow but they add to the safety and overall enjoyment of this family friendly campsite. We will certainly be returning next year and would recommend this to others looking for a peaceful family friendly holiday

This was my 4th or 5th visit to Warcombe farm and having read some of the recent negative reviews regarding the staff and rules I have to say I was a little apprehensive about our arrival and wandered what might of changed since our last visits. Well I can whole heartedly say that nothing had changed for the worse only the better. From the moment of our arrival to moment we left all of the staff were really polite, Welcoming and friendly. In fact the gentleman that welcomed us to our pitch stayed for around 15 minutes in conversation with us making recommendations of pitches on the site, things to do and places to go. With regards to the rules I really dont see a problem and most of them follow the same rules as virtually every other site we have visited. Rules are there for safety reasons in the main but also to ensure the park caters for all types of visitors and to ensure the guests are respectful of that. Last year I actually broke the rules by not waiting to be allocated to my pitch and was rightly told off by the gentleman that met us but he was still polite and wish us a good stay after. It was totally my fault for being a smart a**e. The facilities are always clean and well maintained, the showers always hot and are very spacious. The grounds are beautifully maintained and I noticed have been upgraded in areas with new planters and electrical points since our last visit. The dog walk is very handy and our dog absolutely loves it especially our walks to the coastal paths directly from the site despite my 2 daughters moaed all the way:). We have eaten from a few of the catering vans that come to the site which are of decent quality and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our week here so much this year we decided to book again and are heading back for August Bank holiday. No doubt we will return in summer 2024 too.

What an amazing campsite. Booked in the morning that we wanted to arrive. Shown to our pitch by a friendly member of staff. The dogs were welcomed with doggy biscuits and a couple of poo bags as well. Great walks from the site down to a pretty seaside village - Lee (dogs are allowed according to a resident) and also along the SW coast path to Woolacombe itself (dog friendly in sections but we haven't explored that bit yet). - Edit - The non dog friendly area is small and at the beginning of the beach, dogs are allowed on the next section (from the stream to a very noticeable rock) and then they have free roam after the rock. Oh, for the humans, the facilities are pretty good as well - nice shower blocks and the shop appears to sell a wide range of products. The pitches aren't too regimented either. All the members of staff that we encountered were friendly and hard working ensuring that the site is kept neat and tidy. We caught the bus from the site into Woolacombe although I believe you can walk it in under half an hour (the lane is almost opposite the site). First time ever we have had to pay for the dogs - 50p each on Filers buses. Used another bus company on our return and the dogs were free on that one. There is a brilliant dog field where you could seriously get lost in it with so many poo bins and to top it all, an amazing dog shower in a wooden cabin with warm water. We didn't use the fishing lake so can't comment on that. Definitely a site we will return to.

This was our first visit to Warcombe , we were blown away by this campsite, from arrival we were well looked after , staff very friendly and helpful. The site itself has everything you need and is dog friendly, the dog walk area was stunning ! The facilities were pristine so clean at all times , flowers everywhere, the pitches are large and well spaced to give a little privacy. This has to be the best campsite we have stayed on, special mention to Robert and his wife who are friendly and helpful and so welcoming , nothing was too much trouble for them. We will be coming back that is for certain, thank you so much to all at Warcombe Farm .
