Detailed Reviews
We have just returned from a 4 night stay. Had a wonderful time - facilities were great...toilets and showers always clean and showers always hot. We were on pitch 16 and the location was great - fully serviced near the toilets, close to the play area and not to far when the food vans come in.
A little disappointed that there were no breakfasts on site over the bank holiday but had pizza, fish & chips and curry in the evenings.
The dog walk is amazing. Carry on down through the dog walk along warcombe lane and you arrive at Lee Bay with rock pools (no food, toilets there). It’s very hilly.
Come out of the main site and walk down sandy lane all the way to woolacombe beach (about 30 mins walk, again very hilly). Can get the bus back apart from sundays at the stop next to the public toilets (number 31 to ilfracombe).
Half way down sandy lane take the public footpath to either combesgate beach or Mortehoe (again extremely hilly). About 40 min walk. Combesgate beach lovely and barricane next to it by tide comes in about 5pm.
Local taxis on hand to take you places if like us, no transport when pitched up.
The shop was well stocked with all the essentials. And the ladies on reception were such good fun.
Had a wonderful bank holiday weekend.

We have stayed here before so knew how good it was, but our week’s stay this month exceeded expectations! The staff have paid the utmost attention to reopening guidelines and requested that face coverings be worn in all shared areas. The shower and toilet facilities were immaculately clean and never busy. The whole site was beautifully maintained and all pitches were well spaced so it was easy to remain socially distanced. We were very grateful for the advice we received when booking on choice of pitch. Lovely and sunny in the evening as promised! Thank you.
The walks locally are many and varied, so there is little need to drive. Having downloaded the OS map to the phone, we were able to explore new walks without the fear of getting lost! The added bonus of a bus stop by the site entrance meant that we could go further afield. One evening we booked dinner at the Rock Inn at Georgeham which we thoroughly enjoyed. The fish and chip van which visited the site provided another delicious supper.
The staff at Warcombe were all extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable and relaxed stay. We cannot wait to visit again!

Have been coming to this site for a year now, several times this year already and a few last year. In fact i am writing this from pitch 210 this evening. This site is beautiful, one of the best i have been to, and the staff are lovely and helpful. thank you to the male staff member who helped me with my windbreak ( didn't get your name) facilities are spotless every time, and the playing of music in the shower is a nice touch.
Leaving tomorrow but back in September if not before! Keep up the good work.

Just returned from a lovely stay at the site and can honestly say it is one of the best sites I have had the pleasure to stay at in 20 years of camping. I can’t remember how I found this site but it is a gem. No matter what time of day or night you go to use the faculties they are immaculate. The grounds are beautifully maintained and every single member of staff we came across were really pleasant and helpful. The added bonus was the different food vans that set up each evening to offer a different takeaway from fish and chips, Indian, Mexican which makes a change from bbq. The small shop is well stocked for all your needs and is very reasonably priced. I would go again in a heart beat it’s just a shame it’s a bit far for us to travel on a regular basis. Would definitely recommend for families, it is quiet and everyone respects the 10 pm quiet time. There is a Tesco extra five minutes away so you can stock up on your supplies when you get there instead of having to take everything with you. You can walk to Woolacombe which is 1.5 miles away instead of waiting in the long traffic which would probably be faster and better for the environment. Happy camping.

On our way back from a great 4 night stay at Warcombe Farm. The staff instantly made us feel very welcome and safe and made sure we had everything we needed. The toilet and shower blocks were never busy due to a large amount of facilities for the size of the site, making social distancing easy and unnoticeable. A bit of advice for families with older children or groups of friends looking to book this site. The 10pm silence rule isn’t something to be taken as a joke. The site falls silent at 10 and your voice will carry making any conversation impossible. If you’re looking for sociable, late nights this site isn’t for you. The men’s showers were also cold at times which is something that could be sorted. Apart from this, I can’t fault the site; beautiful location, beautiful walks and very spacious private pitches!

The staff and the site are fantastic. The pitches are generous and well spaced. The shower blocks, dog walking area (with doggy shower) and water points are well planned and considered for you the customer. Highly recommend and will be back!!

Arrived to a very warm welcome from the camp staff and we were shown to our pitch (93) all weather pitch. You will need rock pegs. Pitches are very spacious.
Site meticulously clean as well as the amenities block . Plenty of Large shower cubicles, with motion sensor hot water on one side and toilets and sinks the other. There is also a smaller amenities block on the other side of the site. There are family bathrooms, pot wash in both blocks and a wet suit wash and laundry facilities.
The shop/reception has necessities and spares. The fresh cream teas are a treat.
There are various food vans of an evening and a breakfast one up by the reception
The staff are always about and very helpful and engaging.
There is a lovely walk through the woods down to Lee beach which took about 30 mins but the majority is to get anywhere you will need a vehicle.
Woolacombe beach is about a 10 min drive and Mortehoe is about 5 min drive. There are no direct footpaths.
So many lovely walks and the coastal path.
Woolacombe beach is stunning but get there early in school holidays. There are shops and eateries on the beach with wet suit hire and toilets.
Saunton beach is lovely, dog friendly with eateries, shop and toilets.
An absolutely fantastic site, very family friendly.

Probably one of the best sites we've stayed at. Lovely clean facilities and although the site was busy we never had to wait to use the showers or washing facilities. Showers were very clean with plenty of hot water (need hooks in the cubicles to hang stuff on but there are shelves in each one so no issues). Great for the kids (age 10 and 8) who enjoyed the play area and with lots of other families there quickly made friends.
Site shop was good with all the basics available and stuff you'd expect to find in a camp site shop.
Was a little worried after seeing some reviews about the staff being a little funny with kids running round and doing what kids do, also some reviewers have said that the staff were rude and abusive. This couldn't be more wrong, they were all very friendly and helpful. Also some people have said that there is a virtual lockdown at 10pm which again is wrong, we were able to sit out with friends at night and have a drink and a chat after kids were asleep, as long as you're respectful of others you wont have a problem.
Some lovely beaches and small towns close by, Putsborough beach was our favourite.
Pitches are huge and most are flat, some have a slight dip but nothing to bother you, we have a Berghaus air 6 XL and even with the car and windbreak was still loads of room.
Would definitely recommend this site to others and will definitely book again.

This was our second time at Warcombe Farm. 1st time was with friends and this time was with family.
We had a great time both times. The site you can not fault. Its so clean and tidy all the time. The family shower rooms are amazing, great size and the heated floors are lovely! The wardens and staff are constantly around the site working hard to keep it in tip top condition and all staff are really friendly.
Pitches are a great size. Food truck on site every night which is great!
Park has a no noise policy after 10pm and by 10pm it is really quiet! Its a very well run site especially for families and we will return again next year :)

We stayed for 6 nights here and loved every minute!
When we arrived we were greeted by a very helpful and friendly man called Mark from Sheffield, he showed us to our pitch and gave us loads of information about the local area and all the time we were there keep asking if we were all ok. 5 star customer service....thanks Mark your a star!
The pitch was really big and fairly flat, we even had a sea view.
The site is really big and very well organised, the facilities were spotless and constantly being cleaned. Showers were great, plenty of hot water and space to get changed. There were two blocks of showers and toilets, a play park for kids, a well stocked shop and the local buses stop right outside. Location of the sight is above the Tarka Trail so uphill on the way back but not too bad.
We really enjoyed our stay here and the service we recieved and would recommend it 100%.
Thanks Warcombe farm for a fab stay!!

Both Lee Bay & Woolacombe are in walking distance from the campsite. We also have a bus stop outside the main gate.
The Wifi is good, but may be slow due to the amount of people on site.
I am sorry but we no longer have a café. The fish and chip visits the site on a Saturday and we also sell frozen meals.
Yes we have the lovely Lee bay and also Combesgate beach both within a 10 min drive
There may be some down at woolacombe bay and at Lee bay there is.
