I spent all my childhood on either Teignmouth beach or the Ness. Always wanted a beach hut but parents said they were too expensive. Stayed in Beach Hut 1 last week for 2 nights and those 45 years of waiting were so rewarded. The location is idyllic and the wildlife is amazing and continually changing with the tides. The views... You need to come and stay here for the wow factor. Great little huts with everything that you could possibly want. Fab views right on the beach and very peaceful. Own patio and very clean and tidy. Would recommend for a romantic break too. Dont forget to visit Teignmouth while you are here but go on the ferry a very... More

This was an anniversary surprise and was a huge hit!!! An experience not to be missed. Once we got the hut warmed up and worked out how to get the heating increased it was great. We stayed during heavy rain which was visible through the roof window - lovely. Really superb idea, in an ideal location. Great cabins which are... More

My wife and I, and two boys recently spent two nights in the Beach Huts, opposite the Teign Crest. You can't beat the location, on the beach, with a wonderful view of the Ness. The huts are very well appointed with fridge, microwave/convection oven, and convection stovetop. There is also underfloor heating, which we didn't need, being blessed with extremely... More

An amazing experience, would happily suggest to anyone, but would advise to go when the weather is a little hotter and with a little less rain.! Hut 5 has to be the best as your not surrounded by others, slightly hot in the eve as the bed is so high so take a fan!!! Utterly awesome for a weekend break,... More

Amazing what they have they squeezed into a small place. All very clean and modern with hot shower, toilet, microwave/oven combi etc. The underfloor heating is very effective as it was about -2 last night and we were more than warm enough. There is a nice patio outside which would be great in the summer but that might be offset... More

My husband and I have stayed here for a few nights. Yes it is quaint, but wouldn't go as far as cosy particularly if the weather is bad, we stayed in hut 5, the seating wasent really big enough for both of us to sit on comfortably my husband sat on a hard backed chair. However the rest was lovely.... More

Last Sunday The Times ran an article about staying right beside the sea but there was one great omission .... but then maybe it's better kept a secret! Where else could you sit up in your bed and look out at the bobbing boats to the river mouth and the sea beyond ? Stunning! Teign Crest is shabby chic in... More

“Perhaps #3, as it is in the middle. #1 is right next door to the Clipper cafe, so a little public and the back decks get a little smaller down the other end, with #5 right beside the public toilets.”
