Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed on a Friday night after 2 days cycling around North Devon before heading back to South Devon on the Saturday. 8 of us in total. The bunkhouse had everything you could need, being cosy, well equipped and beautifully situated. Fantastic views! Carol and Pete were great hosts - offering great local knowledge and kindly booking dinner for us at the wonderful London Inn in Molland. Thank you - wonderful stay!

We booked Blindwell Bunkhouse for a reunion of old uni friends. The bunkhouse was very well equipped and perfect for our gathering. We have stayed at other bunkhouses which have not been anywhere near as good. I have already recommended Blindwell Bunkhouse and we will have no hesitation in returning next year.

Carol and Pete gave us a lovely warm welcome and were more than happy to take the time to tell us about great places to eat and visit in the surrounding area. The bunkhouse is on a working farm so we were able to see the lambs and calves in the surrounding fields which was a treat for the kids. There is a lovely view over the fields across the road from the bunkhouse. The bunkhouse is a renovated farm building, so I felt like I was in an episode of Escape to the Country. With exposed old bits and well renovated new parts. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a lovely space to eat your meal and work out how you are going to spend your day. The beds are really comfortable, sturdy with nice and warm bedding. Which meant we had a great couple of nights sleep. The

Such a lovely, relaxing place to stay. Carol and Pete were great hosts. A great place for all, families included. This is a brilliant place for just spending a few days getting away from it all on Exmoor, or a one night stop off en-route across the moors. Will definitely be returning.

We stayed here recently as a group of families with children. A lovely welcome from the owners who did all they could to help us during our stay. The bunkhouse was lovely and clean and also well equipped. A beautiful setting.

While working at IronMan 70.3 at Wimbleball Lake, this accommodation was perfect for us to retreat to after a long day and simply relax and enjoy the view. The facilities inside the converted barn were very modern and we were able to shower, cook our dinner and relax in complete comfort. The 7ft long bespoke bunk beds are big enough to hold a giant and sturdy enough so as not to creak with every move. Our hosts Carol and Pete welcomed us with a smile, made sure we had everything we needed and even came to bid us farewell. Overall, a great value package, with quality facilities that would put some larger, more expensive hotels to shame. My advice? Book a room with friends and have a BBQ under the tree in the field opposite, as it's a splendid way to watch the sun go down and a

Couldn't have asked for better, especially for the price! We made use of the April bank holiday for some Mountain Biking around the Quantocks and Exmoor and wanted a place that let us access both relatively easily. Great facilities with the expansive drying room and the underfloor heating being especially appreciated on our trip. One of the best places i've stayed on biking trips away and that's including some more expensive B&B options!

A little more expensive than some other bunkhouses I've stayed in, but worth it. The facilities were great. The owners had clearly thought through the designs and features to ensure a comfortable stay.

A lovely bunkhouse, with the best facilities I have ever seen in this type of accommodation. The milk in the fridge and the box of teabags are just some of the little touches that show what a brilliant place this is. The beds are comfortable and the underfloor heating was an amazing feature, especially after a long day walking. The showers and toilets are well thought out and practical, something which is usually lacking in bunkhouses in my experience. The owners are very nice and keen to help whenever possible. Booking was simple and they were flexible with our last minute changes. Also the scenery is stunning

Having stayed with a large group over New Years, we were pleasantly surprised to find this place to be the nicest we've ever stayed in. Proper beds with duvets and pillows, underfloor heating and a well kitted out kitchen and bathroom with excellent showers. The owners have clearly put in a lot of care and attention when developing the place and as a result our stay was luxurious! We would definitely stay there again as exmoor is on your doorstep and
