This is really a wonderfull place to stay, i stayed in the B & B, a lovely double bed, with toilet and basin with the shower just outside. I slept well, enjoyed the incredible food beer and cider!, had lovely walks around the site. The owners and staff were fantastic making sure you had a great holiday, and relaxing in the cow shed in the evening chatting with other guests was just fantastic. covid precautions were excelent too, i felt totally safe

This is our 4th time staying here and we look forward to it every year. The major attraction for us is the Cow Shed, which serves draught ale, home cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner, and even cream teas in the afternoon. A very warm and inviting space, and a much needed facility when the weather is as bad as it has been this month! They are doing a really good job at controlling washrooms and toilets in these strange times, and we get very safe, especially with the seating in the Cow Shed being separated now.

A very well kept site cleanliness excellent with lovely countryside views, good range and quality food served in the restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful but not the owners unfortunately, who were not at all hospitable, there was a "cold front" apparent unless you were a regular visitor it appeared . The Cliental are mostly elderly ( or at least in their mindset !) So if you enjoy peace an quite and reading books and early nights this not a good holiday type of place to visit. We would not return

We had a fab camping holiday and really love this site! Grounds and facilities are immaculate. Best we’ve come across. Owners are friendly as well as the clientele. Measures in place for COVID were on point and worked with everyone following. Pool and hot tub were lovely and relaxing. Would highly recommend not only staying here but also taking a stroll up to the cow shed for a lovely meal and a few drinks (Maybe even mingle with fellow holiday makers). Very reasonable drinks prices and food locally sourced. Will be back ASAP :).

After 18 weeks of not going far from our home, my wife and I decided that we needed to get away for a few days. I contacted Acorns and fortunately they had a static caravan available the first week of August. One of our greatest concerns was that wherever we went it had to be as safe as possible from Covid-19. After talking to Kathy and looking at the website which detailed the precautions being taken, we booked. On arrival we were shown to the caravan and inside it was spotless. While we were there we had dinner on three days and a Devon Cream Tea one afternoon. Overall we couldn't fault the precautions that had been taken to protect their guests. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too good, we had just one sunny day but this allowed us to go out and explore the villages and countryside around the site. We will definitely be back, sooner rather than later.
